The upgraded bunkers at Lake Buena Vista and Oak Trail will feature the super-popular Mickey-shaped bunker similar to the one on No. 6 on the Magnolia course. The Palm Course is currently closed for a scheduled aeration process but is scheduled to reopen on June 18. When it reopens, it will feature re-imagined bunkers and improved drainage capabilities. In addition to the Mickey-shaped bunkers, the enhanced bunkers at the Lake Buena Vista course will include adding new powdery white sand. At Oak Trail, the greens are being restored to their original size and totally resurfaced utilizing paspalum grass for the first time ever on a Disney putting green. The upgrades at Lake Buena Vista will begin on June 18 while the upgrades at Oak Trail are scheduled to being on June 25. Both courses should be finished by mid-August.
