Beckers 1,136
You need to work on your selfie skills. Lol. I love , love the autographed frame idea. Walmart! .97 can’t beat that!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Beckers 1,136
Once we got into the park we went to the Brick Factory store. Here you can have them engrave lego bricks or Lego brick keychains. $48 later and we have 4 of these [emoji23]We ordered and paid for them and said we’d be back on the way out to get them. They had about 8 different fonts to pick from and you could have up to 11 characters engraved (double sided if you paid more!) Beckers 1,136
Today was matching shirt day! $4 shirts from Walmart and I printed the Eyes out at home. Super cheap and easy. We spent a lot of time looking at the models. They are really impressive. There’s a lot of buttons to push too (and a handful squirt water). The NYC scene was pretty popular for us because the Friday before we left we took Elizabeth to the American Girl doll store. I’ve got tons of pictures if anyone is interested in that outing There was a button you could push here and a bride and groom came out and got into the car

I agree 12 and under, but age is all in your attitude. I enjoyed going to Legoland with the grandkids until they go older and had passes for several years. (We live close by) I enjoyed going through the gardens and riding the island in the sky while they enjoyed riding and other things. would not recommend it for older kids unless they were Lego crazy, but an enjoyable day without a huge crowded mess. We were super disappointed that Iskand in the Sky is no longer running. When we went last year we had to drag the kids on it the first time and then they loved it. We rode it a handful of times last trip.
Beckers 1,136
I just realized that the Statue of Liberty is there twice. Once in the NYC section and once in the Las Vegas section. After looking at all the models we went and met Benny from The Lego Movie. They have a meet and greet outside of their 4D movie. I’ve never gone to it because both kids are chickens [emoji23] they have 2 or 3 different movies that play during the day on the hour. After the meet and greet Squish went to “driving school” they have one small track for 3-5 year olds and then a bigger one for kids up to 13.Proud new driver showing off her license. The young kids get these free business card type one. At 12:15 we want to see the ski show. It had a pirate theme but I don’t remember the name. They said the first 5 rows were the splash zone, so Adam sat in the first row and we sat back farther. It was really empty or I wouldn’t have let him sit far away. That’s the Legoland Hotel in the back. Typical show, good guys, bad guys, they fight and the good guys win. The water skiing Lego men were pretty impressiveThere’s Adam hoping to get soaked (he didn’t)They had a meet and greet at the end. It is on a lake side and you need to bring your own chair. DaveInTN
twiceblessed....nacole 433
All caught up! What a fun trip! I knew that your little man had allergies..but I didn't realize how severe they were. Has he had many, strong reactions? We have some friends, whose son is allergic to peanuts; he had a reaction one time (mild, just a rash) to planting with Miracle Grow as (apparently) they use/used peanuts in the soil. Crazy. Our little man also has a peanut allergy, but we've been blessed with nothing major... so far. I homeschool, so his chances for interaction are reduced in that setting. We do sanitize our hands like crazy when we're out, just as a precaution. Nice thing about Disney's buffets... is it seems like they really do try and and accommodate. No tree nut allergies here (I think A has those as well?)... so it's not as tough. Legoland... we need to go back. Last time we were there, our little man was 10 weeks old. He's ready for another visit
Beckers 1,136
After the show we had lunch, no pictures, it’s just standard theme park junk. We went to the water park next, it’s alllll the way at the back of the park. We plan our day so that we could work our way back there, but dragging our swim stuff around all day was a pain. They have lockers there and we needed a “jumbo” one that cost $15. I do like their locker rental system. There is a touch screen where you put in what size you want, you pick your PIN number, pay and then it tells you what locker to use. It’s so much better than the places with keys. We always run into issues at our local water park of who holds the key. My kids are 5 years apart so a lot of times Brian takes Adam and I stick with a Elizabeth and without fail, whoever isn’t holding the key needs something and then we have to find each other. No pictures because I stored my phone but it’s a nice smaller park. Kiddie section, lazy river, wave pool (it would cycle 10 mins of no waves and 8 mins of waves), probably 4-6 bigger slides and then a dumping bucket play structure (which had 6-8 smaller slides). In the lazy river and wave pool they had these giant floating lego blocks that you could build with. Some of the tubes in the lady river even had like a Lego base plate on them so you could build on the tube. The other thing I really liked was they had double tubes where the grown up could be on one part and the other tube had a solid bottom, so smaller (or scared kids) could sit and you didn’t have to worry they would slip through. We had a great time and I’m glad we went. The water park closed at 4, and the park at 5, so the plan was to work our way back to the front and do what we missed. slices 16
Water parks sounds good, I must have mode half a dozen or so trips to Legoland in the past year and still haven't checked it out. Beckers 1,136
First up was driving school for Adam. There’s traffic lights, circles, stop signs etc. the kids are supposed to follow the “rules of the road”. I told Adam I fully expected him to handle the circle like a champ because we have a bunch of them around here. I have an issue with people clipping their nails in public, it seriously makes me ill. No matter where I go, I end up near a public nail clipper! One night staying at Animal Kingdom lodge I was out on our balcony enjoying the animals and don’t the people above us decide it’s time to clip their nails?!? And here we go in Legoland. Check out the dress too.Next up was boating school. We went on this a lot because my kids love it and it was walk on. The line for this can be horrible because there is only a few boats and they move slow. Plus you actually steer them. Here’s mom and Adam, they started 1 boat ahead of us and because I let Squish “drive” we ended up with 3 boats in between us by time we were done [emoji23]It had lego things that talked and stuff and some that squirted water. They were easy to avoid unless you let the 4 year old steer. We went back to this area to play some of the game things they have (its a tap the light test your reaction kind of thing) but all 3 of them weren’t working. So pictures with Lego Lloyd instead. We also met this guy (I think it’s Kai). These are the guys our shirts are made to look like. After this we got our apple fries. This is Legoland’s “famous snack” they cut Granny Smith applies like French fries, fry them and coat them in cinnamon sugar and serve with whipped cream (or you can get ice cream). They are amazing. Super, super good. Enough of a reason to go to Legoland just for them. My kids were tired of theme park food so I went to Publix for dinner. My mom and I got pub subs and I got cheese/crackers fruit and yogurt for the kids. This was my first time ordering a Pub Sub and couldn’t get over how friendly they were. After everything they added they ask if that was enough lettuce, etc. up here you just get what you get and you deal with it [emoji23]The Lego Friends were down in the lobby again.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
momof3kids-Yvonne 596
So I am assuming Adam did the appropriate yelling at the other drivers when he approached the circle. You know just the typical. "What are you waiting for? " "It's a yield sign not a stop." "Go! GO!"Since he is so young I wouldn't expect any sign language from him. Beckers 1,136
We took a walk around their boardwalk area. It’s right on the lake and really nice for an evening walk. At night they also have a fire pit for s’mores. For $10 you get 2 Hershey bars, a sleeve of graham crackers and 10 marshmallows. It was a really nice way to end our night here. And of course more lego buildingOur last morning there the Lego friends were waking around during breakfast. They remembered her from the day before and asked her about the water park and continued their conversations from before. I saw a place on line where you could take yours of orange grooves, so we went there because it was on the way to the airport. Orange season was over but peach season was in full swing. It was $10 to fill this whole bucket. At home, all the farms charge you between $3-4 per person just to take a hayride to the field to pick and then they charge you for all the fruit. This place gave us a golf cart ride to the fields for free. So it was wayyyyy cheaper than doing this at home. Oh and they make their own orange soft serve from their oranges, they change up the flavors depending what’s in season. They had peach, orange and blueberry. It was amazing. Travisma 1,317
Yay!!! You stumbled upon old Florida. There used to be tons of grove stores up and down Hwy. 27, and all around the state, where you got fresh squeezed OJ and all kinds of fruit based foods. They've been all replaced by StarSucks and McBlands.

My cup was $2.50 and I couldn’t finish it (it was also like 10:30 in the morning). The lady even made my kids smaller cups and charged me for one instead of 2. They used to have an ice cream shop somewhere else but I think it’s closed. Id like to go back just to try the other flavors of ice cream.
