Beckers 1,136
Trying to figure out the quickest way to get some stuff for our trip. Our time at Disney is super limited so I don’t really want to stop and shop somewhere. I can get delivery from Publix from instacart, anyone tried this?
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
We did. Worked well. McMinsters also used Amazon Prine Now with good results.
Beckers 1,136
Do you get a delivery window or how does that work? Will I have to meet them at the front?
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
I had to meet as we had ordered alcohol. Otherwise they can just drop off at the Outpost. You give an approx time you want it there if I remember right. This is for Instacart. For Prime Now I don’t know the specifics.
DaveInTN 3,247
Is the Fort charging for accepting deliveries such as this? I remember discussion of a fee to accept packages. Not sure what the current practice is.
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
I honestly don’t remember which things charge and which don’t. I want to say though food is no but a straight package from normal Amazon is yes.

dblr....Rennie 224
Why not have what you want delivered to you while at LEGOLAND then you have it to just take from there
Beckers 1,136
Legoland is the second part of the trip. My kids would probably protest if they went a day without apples and goldfish 😂

h2odivers...Ray 952
How are you getting to the fort? Rental car, uber, or magical express? Or
Beckers 1,136
Rental car. Stopping and shopping will cost me time and more money 😂 my next thing to figure out is where or what to eat. We land at 11:40 and mom needs to eat sooner than later due to her diabetes and My options are limited because of Adam. I was hoping to wait to get on property but I think that’s going to be long for my mom to wait.

h2odivers...Ray 952
Or could you bring snack on the plane to get the kids thru one night at WDW and then pick up stuff at the Publix by legoland.

I found a Wawa 8 miles from the airport so I think that’s my plan. I love Whole Foods meals but Adam can’t eat them 😢. It looks like I have to wait for day of to do instacart, so if I remember Monday morning I’ll place an order and see how it goes. But I am flying Southwest so I may just pack a suitcases full of stuff 😂 some one I follow in IG packed a suitcase of bottled water but my luck it would be crushed. Wawa is the gas station that has good subs. Correct? I need to try them our next trip. Does wawa have a grocery section? if it does, problem solved.

There is an Aldi, not too far from the airport, it's on 765 W Sandlake. Easy to get to, and not to too hard to get back on the Beachline.
Beckers 1,136
So I used instacart. I was able to put everything in my cart and then Monday morning place my order. I selected a delivery window of 12-1 (my flight was landing at 11:40 and I wanted my stuff waiting for me). They delivered it to bell services and they held my stuff and didn’t charge me for holding it.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Very cool! Sorry I missed this post. I have friends that use Instacart at Disney a lot because of allergies.
