Travisma 1,317
If you want to see real wildlife The Blue Spring manatee cam is the best thing on the internet right now With colder temperatures, comes herds of manatees. At this very moment, hundreds of manatees are jam packed into the warm waters at Blue Spring State Park in Orange City, which means the live stream is arguably the best thing on the internet today. As of this morning, the park staff counted 363 manatees from the boardwalk and Save the Manatee Club staff counted 418 in the canoe. Since it's not always a guarantee that you'll get in to the park (they often hit capacity early in the day), the fine people at the Save The Manatee Clubhave a handy live stream that is definitely worth checking before you make the drive. If you're having trouble viewing the manatee cam, try it from here. It's also worth noting that in the evening they typically run an edited loop.Blue Spring State Park is about 30-45 minute drive from Orlando, and charges $6 a car. Get their early. https://www.savethemanatee.org/manatees/manatee-webcams/ 3 Sisters Springs at Crystal River on the West coast of FL has a huge population of visiting manatees depending on the temperature of the gulf water. Last week they had over 300 crowding around the spring outflow of warmer water. Tampa Electric's Big Bend manatee viewing area had a lot last week due to the cold water also. They gather in a canal where the warm water from the power plant comes out. BradyBzLyn...Mo

TCD That is because they are meat eaters, manatee is a plant eater, therefore they taste more like gophers. My grandfather used to tell me about eating them. Gopher stew tastes like beef, have had it in times past before they were protected.
