Cortezcapt (Derek) 156
Hey that's better than the One Particular Island community they are building down here. Starting in the "high 400s" for 1400-1600 sqft 2 or 3 bedroom condos. Although probably would come out to be the same, but a lot less amenities here.
fladogfan aka Gretchen 259
I like Jimmy B but not at those prices. Even his concerts have been priced out of my league. Good thing the CDs are affordable.

Did think about just taking the trailer up and tailgating the next one here. That used to be as much fun as the concerts.

fladogfan aka Gretchen 259
I think the Orlando one is at an outdoor stadium this year. Jimmy puts on a good show but so expensive. I'm happy I got to see a couple of them before being priced out, of course the seats were in the nose bleed section. The 'fans' in the row in front of us were drunk and a couple behind us were enjoying a few joints. Just another JB concert

That used to be as much fun as the concerts. We’ve been down to Dallas to see him a few times. We never buy tickets until we get there. We show up early and tailgate for a few hours and then when the concert is about to begin we get tickets out the gates. IIRC in 2016 we paid $25 or $35 a ticket. We didn’t go in 2017 because he opened a margaritaville casino in Tulsa and we got 4 comped tickets to his show. It’s not as fun as the outdoor Dallas concert. But it is only a 90 minute drive from our house.

From what our friends said they didn't check tickets for the lot, had to pay to park. Sounded like a lot of people stayed out and tailgated. That was a few years ago though. We used to get behind the stage seats for 35.00 but he turned around and played to towards the back of the stage for parts of the concert.

I just checked my super secret parrot head sources and I can get tickets for the Orlando 2018 show for $96.50. If anyone is interested. But I would just wait till the day of the show. I doubt camping World Stadium will be sold out and tickets will go cheap.

Most concerts like most most sporting events prices drop dramatically if the venue is not sold out. And the opposite is true if it’s sold out. But you need to buy them from individuals or scalpers. fladogfan aka Gretchen
Travisma 1,317
It's amazing how much more concerts cost down here in FL compared to other parts of the country. I know, it's a long out of the way drive, but it's the promoters fault for only scheduling 2 or 3 shows in the state. A lot of these acts could perform 2 or maybe even 3 shows per city before heading to the next stop. Usually the shows are in Jacksonville, Miami, then either Orlando or Tampa, sometimes both. A few years back I paid $100 per ticket for Springsteen in the cheap section Two months later he was in Buffalo, and the same tickets were $30, plus he put on 3 shows.
