We are now seeing that this popular show will be returning for the 2017 holiday season. The show is displayed above and around the Chinese Theater with state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks and a rousing seasonal musical score. Disney’s Description of Last Year’s Show: Led by elves Wayne and Lanny, the duo from ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” the spirited yuletide adventure to the North Pole features memorable holiday moments from Disney films including “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and more, all building to a festive finale that’s “So tinsel!” And as a holiday miracle, they’ll be snow! No official word yet on dates for this year’s show or if Disney will again offer the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party.

Travisma 1,317
It sure didn't look as good in person as those photos show.

The problem with the projection shows is that unless you are over 7' tall, you are going to have a bunch of fat heads, iPad photographers and kids on shoulders blocking your view of all or part of the projections. You can see that these photos were taken from an elevated vantage point, above all of the fat heads you see at the very bottom of the photos. No regular guest gets that good of a view. TCD The colors and projections are a lot brighter/clearer. I think a lot of time was spent using Photoshop on those pictures.
