AuburnJen 777
Oh my mouth is watering just looking at all of this... and of course it has FLAMINGOS! http://www.chipandco.com/disney-springs-christmas-july-event-offers-seasonal-treats-275886/ Quote The most wonderful time of year to find specialty treats around the Walt Disney World is the Christmas Season. However, once these treats go away, they will not be seen again until the following year. Now you do not have to wait until November to enjoy some of these Seasonal Favorites. Disney Springs Christmas In July Event Offers Seasonal Treats. Goofy’s Candy Company is where it’s at when it comes to finding some our favorite Seasonal Treats this time of year. Here you will find your favorite Mickey Ear Krispy Treats decked out in Santa Hats, Chocolate, and Holiday Sprinkles. Also on offer is Holiday Peppermint Bark. Or you can try one of our personal favorites, the Holiday Candy Apples. Looking for something more….well…Frozen? You may want to sample some of Goofy’s Glacier Slushy’s. Disney Cast Members are outside of Goofy’s Candy Company, and moving along the back side of Disney’s Days of Christmas Store where folks are waiting in line to meet Santa Claus, offering samples of these frozen sweet treats. We tried the Blue Raspberry, Pink Lemonade, and Root Beer. Are you a fan of the Candy Cane and just cannot wait for them to appear on the shelves of the stores during the Holiday Season? No need to wait! Step into the air-conditioned Disney’s Days of Christmas Store to pick up your complimentary Candy Cane from Janelle. If you love the flavor of Gingerbread during the Holiday Season then be sure to pick up your Gingerbread Crepe from Aristocrepes. Unfortunately, they were out of batter when we stopped by and were not able to make one for us. Maybe a warm treat is not the best idea during the sweltering summer month of July in Central Florida. If you are looking to stick with the cold and frozen north style sweets, then stop by Starbucks for a Ginger Snap Frappuccino. Now that is one sweet Disney Springs Christmas in July Seasonal Treat! Christmas in July is a fun way to think cool thoughts during the heat of the summer. These awesome Holiday Sweets will be offered at Disney Springs through July 30th. No need to wait another 5 months for the Christmas Season to be upon us. Stop by Disney Springs Christmas In July Event for some Seasonal Treats.
Travisma 1,317
We went there Saturday night. Totally forgot it was Christmas until we came around the corner from the boat ramp and ran into a large display that said Happy Holidays. They had a Summer Santa in the Christmas Shop posing for pictures in a beach scene. Disney Springs was packed. We stayed long enough just to make our way to the bus stop and headed back to the hotel. We took the bus because the boat line was backed up the entire dock ramp to shore!
AuburnJen 777
Santa is coming!!! http://www.chipandco.com/meet-santa-claus-disney-springs-christmas-july-event-276404/ Quote Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas in July Chip and Company Fans! Come meet Santa Claus during the Disney Springs Christmas In July Event from July 15th-July 30th. Be sure to stop by the Days of Christmas shop from 1:00pm -10:00pm daily to meet the Jolly Old Elf himself. Disney photographers will be on hand to capture the moment you meet Santa Claus in July! Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, in July at Disney Springs. Wait, what? Santa is looking very festive in his summer Florida attire this week at Disney Springs as he celebrates Christmas in July. We love his red converse sneakers, white knee socks, red shorts, white gloves and festive holiday shirt. No Holiday Chalet for Santa in July as he is on vacation after all. Stop by Disney Springs and hop in line outside the Days of Christmas shop. Here you will find a festive atmosphere complete with umbrellas to provide shade and friendly Cast Members meandering about serving up some free samples of Goofy’s Glaciers Slurpies in a variety of flavors. We loved the Blue Raspberry ones. While waiting in line, you cannot help but sing along to the Christmas songs that are being piped in for the occassion. We are so thrilled that Santa decided to vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort in July. He is set up with a Summer Christmas in July backdrop featuring a large beach chair, ocean background and sandy colored flooring. Disney Photographers will take your pictures so be sure to wear your Magic Band and have your photos scanned to your band. You can have your Holiday pictures with Santa ready to go for those Christmas cards in December. Mark that item off your Holiday checklist! This year, 2017, marks the first-ever Christmas in July Event at Disney Springs. Is this the beginning of an even grander, more festive event next year? Guess we will just have to wait and see what the Walt Disney World Resort has up their sleeve for 2018! Wishing you all the happiest, and merriest Christmas in July. AuburnJen 777
Fun Drinks too!!! http://www.chipandco.com/celebrate-christmas-july-dockside-margaritas-snowball-margaritas-276381/ Quote Seems like everywhere we go we hear about Christmas in July and Disney Springs is no exception. Specialty Cocktails are always a great way to celebrate the Holiday Season. We decided to Celebrate Christmas in July with one of Dockside Margaritas Snowball Margaritas. Dockside Margaritas can be found along the waterside at Disney Springs Marketplace across from the Markeplace Co Op. We love drinks with Blue Curacao and the Snowflake Margarita does not disappoint on flavor. Don’t forget to say yes to the salt as the salted rim of the cup definitely enhances the flavor. Oh what fun it is! The Snowball Margarita, while really not particularly special, is a colorful, fun and refreshing cocktail that is sure to hit the spot while waiting in line at the Days of Christmas Store to see Santa Claus. That is what we did and we had a great time celebrating Christmas in July at Disney Springs while enjoying a Dockside Margaritas Snowball Margarita.
