Roller ... aka Ed 351
We've discussed hoses, power cords, general supplies, etc. What do you HAVE to have as far as utensils, pots & pans, appliances, etc. to make your kitchen "perfect"?
DaddysCoolTV 4
The 2 best things we use the most are a large electric griddle and the crockpot.
campingmommy aka Kelli 7
My crockpot, although I use it more in the fall than during the summer. I try to think of things I use all the time at home and stock the camper the same way. We even have regular dishes stocked in there but rarely use them as paper plates are much easier! Grumpy and Grandma 740
At home it's a "mini griddle" just the right size for the two of us. In the MH it's a "mini griddle" and the convection micro...Haven't used the stove or oven in the 2 years we've owned it.The really perfect part of both is that I do the cooking..... :) Grandma did the first 30 and I get the next 30.... mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Well, most of the time my kitchen is for looks and for the fridge to keep stuff cold, but Rick insisted on a good saute pan to make omelets on the occasional trip that we do cook at the camper

New cabinets, floor and appliances. I wanted to keep as a "formal" kitchen and not use it :)

polkadotsuitcase 12
Coffee maker, no doubt about it! I also like the electric pot, so I can parboil chicken/make stinky stuff outside the camper. Ditto for the electric skillet. (No need to stink the place up when we're making crab cakes!) I never use the oven in mine cause it gets to hot in the RV. And wouldn't you know the next model year they were putting convection ovens in. :argh: Now I am just waiting for the microwave to go to hell and I will replace it with a convection :rofl2:

dngtrumps 0
What makes my kitchen perfect is that I have one inside the camper and another one outside the camper so I don't have to carry everything outside every time I need to cook. I use an electric griddle, crockpot, and quesadilla maker everytime I camp. Dawn

polkadotsuitcase 12
I just remembered I've got a Magic Bullet out in the camper, too. It rarely gets used -- anyone have/use one? Any good recipe suggestions? (It's usually just me and the kiddos camping, though, so non-alcoholic ideas would be fab!)
