djsamuel 322
Rumor on Facebook that all loops, except tent/pop up, will be pet loops. The bag dispensers will be installed in all loops and should be done in a couple of weeks. Anybody heard of this? Wouldn't make much difference given past practice. I haven't heard this rumor lately, but it's something I've heard several times in the past. Your last sentence is right on the money. I think it's a bad idea to allow pets in the tent loops. But, they already do. TCD djsamuel
keith_h 420
It wouldn't surprise me if they make the rule match the practice. I've not seen a non-pet loop yet that didn't have at least one camper with a pet so why have the rule if they aren't following it anyway? djsamuel

You are probably right that this is their logic. So, does this mean there will be no rules regulating pets in any way? Rocky has always wanted to play in that new splash zone at the pool and have Ms. Josie teach him how to hula hoop. I guess that's OK now? It's going to be great to take him into the Comfort Station to wash him off in the shower. He doesn't like getting his bath with that cold hose water. TCD

So, if they can go in the Comfort Stations, then the pool should be fine. I wonder how Rocky would do on the slide? TCD djsamuel

keith_h 420
If you play your cards right the Fort will train Rocky to be a performing show dog (hula hoops, water tricks, the list goes on). After that who knows but maybe Disney will hire him as a CM.

LONE-STAR 370
So does that make it a pet loop? Or does it just mean you can walk your pet there?
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
I don't know. I haven't gone looping to see if there are more of them elsewhere yet. I will report back when I get chance too.

I think it does. Historically, only officially designated pet loops had poop bag dispensers. If you can walk your dog there, then you can camp with your dog there. As has already been discussed numerous times, the addition of a poop bag dispenser doesn't really change anything, as for the past few years, there have always been dogs allowed in the 100 and 200 loops (and every other loop as well). kadancer 82
We had a dog in out tent loop last summer and I felt so sorry for him. He was basically alone all day, outside and cried a lot.

Katman1356...Jason 1,140
I will say there are actually two of the bag dispensers in the 100 loop. One on either side. Havent hit the other loops yet to see.

ftwildernessguy 778
My wife uses the dispensers to clean up after me.
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
In some looping tonight. I didn't have my notes on which have been in the past. 200, 400, 700, 600, and the 1200 all have dispensers.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
700 has been a pet loop for years. Don't know about the others.
LONE-STAR 370
I know 1200 and 200 have always been a non pet loop. So that's great new's now that I have a dog (well now my daughter has a dog that my wife loves and it goes on vacation with us now)
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
Ok. I looped all the loops and revisited the 1500 loop as I originally thought it did not have one. Every loop at the Fort has one or more of those bag dispensers. BradyBzLyn...Mo
