PureTcrazy...rita 380
I took Ed out for lunch today. It was a late birthday lunch so we splurged. We are both glad we did. You can order of the dinner menu or you can order from lunch, light bites or $28 for 2 choices from a special section that includes appetizers and entrees. They are less portion wise than the dinner menu. Ed ordered dinner menu. I ordered lunch. We started with the Bread service. Ed liked it, I liked part of it. The green stuff was especially good. Ed ordered the lamb duo. He raved about it! I ordered black eyed pea fritters and the 72 hour short rib. The rib was fabulous! It was not braised. It was med rare and so tender I cut it with a butter knife. It is served with chimichurri. The rice with it sucked. Neither of us thought much of the fritters. Ok, but would not repeat. They brought Ed a birthday treat We also ordered dessert, a duo of sorbets, lychee and dragon fruit with lime sauce and other stuff I don't remember. I also didn't remember to take a picture! Lol Overall, we enjoyed our meal. The lunch option is a reasonable and the dinner is not too over the top. Bonus, it was cool and quiet! There is an outdoor area that would be really nice when it is cooler. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk BradyBzLyn...Mo

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I've been waiting for a firsthand report from here - thanks for sharing Rita! This is high on the list for our December trip. PureTcrazy...rita
keith_h 420
Both of the meat dishes look good. We rarely order fritters from restaurants we are trying. Mainly because we have been less than impressed by most places we've tried.
DaveInTN 3,247
This just gave me a thought. There is an Amish market about an hour from my house that has unbelievable Apple Fritters. And I happen to be camping about 15 minutes from there tonight. Hmmm. Sorry....carry on. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk PureTcrazy...rita

bhall 115
Mmmmm Amish made apple fritters. If I go an hour east or an hour north or an hour west I could get some but they're never open when I'm nearby Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
