If you want full hookup that will limit you to private campgrounds around Estes Park as none of the campgrounds in Rocky Mountain National Park has hookups (or had them the last we stayed there). The same goes for the Forest Service Campgrounds that I am aware of in the area. I haven't stayed at any of the private campgrounds so can't really recommend or say stay away from any of those. We never camped in Colorado Springs as it was a day trip from where I lived so again no thoughts on camping.

One thing to be aware of is if you aren't used to the altitude it can have a serious effect on you. It is best to take your time and not push your physical activity to the limit. In particular as you get higher up in altitude pay attention to feeling fatigued or light headed as those are the beginning signs of altitude sickness.
