Beckers 1,136
I'm at the laundry room at the the campground and there are 8 washers, only 4 work and they are filled with clothes. How long do you wait before taking people's stuff out? Or do you just haul your crap back and try again later?
DaveInTN 3,247
Move their clothes into one of the washers that doesn't work. They'll really scratch their heads over that one. Mrs.TN22, BradyBzLyn...Mo, Wicked and 1 other
Specularius 102
20 minutes is my rule of thumb. That is approximately 2/3rds of a wash cycle. They should have been there by that time. I always set a timer on my watch for 25 minutes so I get back to the washer just about the time the spin cycle ends.

Littleolwoman.aka.Kristie 119
Just make sure you move ALL the laundry. In January I accidentally brought home a pair of undies. Very cute but alas not mine yuck!

Beckers 1,136
So one person had 3 washers and she came in as I was about to move the stuff. The other washer stayed full through my wash, drying and when I checked an hour later ( so about 3 hours total). Not sure when they ever did get it out.

bdm 47
If i see someone load up a washer and walk away, I take their stuff out and put mine in. Saves me the money. just kidding... or am I I would take someones laundry out and put it in a cart or on top of a broken washer. I dont leave the general area when I'm doing laundry

ftwildernessguy 778
I always hang out at the laundry area. When somebody leaves their wash unattended, off come the skivies. Free laundry!
Dogdiver 3
That's why we have a washer/dryer in our 5er. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CJHokie 43
I would wait 10 minutes at the most. I also set a timer just in case I get busy and forget to come back. If those people don't, they're the ones with bad etiquette. Last spring break (Camp Gulf in FL) someone left 2 dryers full for a long time and I was getting ready to just dump them in a cart, but this other lady decided to fold it for them. The lady finally came in like 40 minutes after I got there (who knows how long they were stopped). She looked a little confused for a sec, then grabbed her stacks of folded laundry and left without saying a word.
