Momof6....aka Marty 769 Posted May 25, 2016 Report Share Posted May 25, 2016 I am sorry I haven't been posting more frequent updates. I am competing with 4 children and my husband for the wifi. Let's see if I can post this without too much trouble. Sarah and I left Epcot on Friday evening to hop back to DHS. We wanted to see the new Symphony in the Stars fireworks. When we got to DHS, Mo and Nicole had texted that they were at 50's Prime Time Cafe. Our friend, Gina, had finished her shift at DHS and after riding some rides, was headed to 50's Prime Time Cafe for dinner. No and Nicole were buried in some back room, so we visited with Gina until her table was ready, then headed out to find a good spot for watching the fireworks. I tried to take pictures of the fireworks. This wS the only one worth posting. If you get the chance, do go see them. They are wonderful! After the fireworks, we decided to ride Toy Story Mania. The line was kinda long, but that meant extra time for pictures. I'm still not very good at this game. After that, Nicole wanted to get me drunk and Mo and Sarah wanted to ride thrill rides. There weren't many places open where we could get drinks, so we headed out, pausing for a PhotoPass photographer on the way out. And that was the end of Friday. CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547 Posted May 25, 2016 Report Share Posted May 25, 2016 Ladies, I wanted to let you know that Chris went to a very expensive fibromyalgia expert today. The doctor put her through rugged tests all day, and as a result she significantly changed Chris' vitamin/medicine regimen. Also her activity level. Chris can now walk 3 minutes followed by 5 minutes of rest. She really needs to be using a scooter, but I understand her reluctance. I went through that too. It's so very hard mentally to accept that your body has many limitations. Chris has a long road of recuperation in front of her. I sincerely hope that one day we can join you at WWW again. We started the morning running our mouths in the tent with the fans running. As you can see, Nicole is spending lots of time with "Woody" Rita and Ed dropped by, so we headed for MK The "unkown thing" they are building at WL We had lunch reservations at the Plaza :) The new hub layout is really nice! This was the first time I had seen it completed. We had a pretty long wait for our seating, as we saw the parade We finally get seated for lunch and that's in the next post. And then some of us decided to hop to Epcot. We saw a duck. And a flower. Meanwhile, Sarah was having fun on her own. Those of us at Epcot got some PhotoPass pictures. As you can see, our fearless leader was having fun! More Spaceship Earth photos. We stayed for Illuminations, during which I took this picture of one of the buildings in Italy. More soon! So I had to miss a lot of the fun. I caught up with the WW in Epcot but while I waited in a line to enter I could hear them!! And see them getting a photo taken. We went to the Poly.... found some refreshments then as we were heading to TTC to catch the Epcot monorail... and we found a ball..... Jen declared it was a schwetty ball a bad picture of all the cabins they pulled and the solar farm then into Epcot and why the FP pictures were so funny.... We ended up riding Haunted Mansion and then Small World. New technology - the ride said Good Bye to Sarah! I forgot to mention that it also had her name on a tombstone at the end of HM. At that point, some headed back to FW. We found a short wait to meet the Frozen Sisters. I love this picture of Yvonne! Then we made our way to the Hub and found another PhotoPass Photographer. We watched the famous Kiss Goodnight, but rather than head out, we headed to Casey's Corner for snacks. Did anyone get pictures of our snacks? I think I split some corn dog nuggets with someone. Sarah got a brownie and milk. :) While we were eating, we heard the Kiss Goodnight again. I didn't know they did it twice. So, did we leave? Not without shopping first. We found something perfect! While we were waiting for our food at lunch, I checked Facebook and saw that Rick, Carol's husband, had tagged me in a post to tell me it was Carol's birthday the next day, and not to let her know we knew. I immediately went into Super Spy mode, quietly texting each person at the table the important news. I made sure to leave a minute or two between texts so Carol wouldn't catch on. (Yes, I overthink everything!) All of a sudden, Carol bursts out laughing. Rick had tagged her in the post so when she checked her email, she saw the post. LOL!! I somehow missed posting these in the last update. Just some late night pictures from MK. My last pictures of the night were taken on the boat back to FW. I'm behind (as usual) but yes I can confirm the late night corn dog nuggets - which is really the best time to eat corn dog nuggets. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of them. But for now, I shall leave you with Nicole - who apparently decided that walking from the Poly to TTC and then taking the monorail to Epcot was way too slow, and she was going to fly instead. The plan for Sunday was to try to new brunch service at Ragland Road. Nicole had decided we should wear ponytails that day. I texted her a picture to make sure my braids met with her approval. Then, Sarah and I went to hang out on the porch of the Meadows Trading Post. Eventually, we took a bus to Disney Springs. Holy Hannah, was it hot and sunny. I needed a hat, so I bought this. (My family decided the hat looked better on my 9yo. I have to agree!) While we waited for our table at Ragland Road, we got some drinks at the Irish bar just around the corner. Eventually, we were seated and got to watch the Irish dancers. And have interesting conversation at the table. Then I took these pictures. Somewhere. Seriously pledging to write all future trip reports within 5 days of getting home. I think we split up at some point. Before leaving Disney Springs, some of us got these photos taken. I know I went swimming with Yvonne. That was my first ever time swimming at the Fort. Oops. No pictures. I took some photos around the campground. Anyone remember what we did for dinner that night?
