BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Well this is interesting. We've said for a while now that it would be cool if there was some sort of lounge attached to Sci-Fi. Of course the real question is CAN YOU STILL GET A CARROT CAKE COOKIE???? From WDWNews Today... Quote 28 Mar Writer’s Stop to Become Sci-Fi Dine-In Lounge Starting April 3rd For a limited time starting April 3rd, guests waiting for their table at Sci-Fi Dine-In will be able to enjoy some appetizers and drinks in the relaxing atmosphere of the Writer’s Stop next door. While the Writer’s Stop was originally set to close on April 2nd, it will instead begin operating from 11:30AM until one hour prior to closing time at the Dine-In on April 3rd. The new menu at the lounge will include a warm pretzel with spicy mustard and cheese sauce, sugar spiced nuts, and a cheese platter, as well as a selection of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Somehow, the Writer’s Stop will still also function as a shop when it reopens on April 3rd, but it remains to be seen how. http://wdwnt.com/blog/2016/03/writers-stop-to-become-sci-fi-dine-in-lounge-starting-april-3rd/

What the cookies? Despite being two different cookies one from each location they were the same. I had bought one at Writer's Stop and Sil didnt want one. She hadnt had one yet. she tried a bite and decided she really wanted one. We were closer to Sweet Spells at that point and grabbed her one there. I was curious if there would be a difference so tried a bite of hers. No difference.

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
According to this review from WDWNT, maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all... http://wdwnt.com/blog/2016/04/review-writers-stop-becomes-lounge-that-should-probably-just-stop/ Some excerpts... Quote The warm pretzel was good, but the sipping sauces were awful. The melted cheese tasted as if it had been sitting there for a long time and the mustard tasted off as well. The cheese plate was standard, nothing too crazy and everything tasted just fine. The spiced nuts weren’t bad, but shouldn’t be priced at $5.00. They had a nice spicy kick to them.
