Barney Fife 0
Our last trip many years ago, we ate at San Angel Inn the evening we arrived. It was great. Food was very good and for some reason, the tea was something my wife still talks about. It had sort of a slight "fruity" taste. But usually the things you do on the first day of your trip are always fond memories because you're just so happy to be there. But I've read some "not so great" reviews of San Angel Inn recently. I hope that's just a few off experiences. We will be making our reservations in a few months and we hope to include this place on our list. Has anyone else here been recently? Are the claims true that things have changed for the worse?
PGHFiend 140
I can never remember if the one on the water is the San Angel. If so, I have mentioned before here that is where we had our best meal ever at Disney. We split this dinner for two, I'd say it was last spring break. I'll look up what we had if that is the right place.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
No San Angel is in the pyramid. I forget the name of the other restaurant, but the one on the water was the WORST sit down meal at Disney, ever! (for us anyway). The meat was inedible, and they kept pushing tequila! Barney Fife 0
I just read some more recent reviews of SAI and they were pretty positive. I guess I just caught some on bad timing.
YENSIDCAMPER 66
The last time I ate there the waitress dropped a whole thing of salsa on me. The food was good but they didn't even comp my appetizer and I had to walk around the park all day with a stained shirt.
shoreline99 137
We ate there back in April. Probably one of the worst dining experiences I've had at Disney, both service and food were terrible.
caveat lector 181
It doesn't handle the load very well, thus the comments on service. My DW will take a bullet for their bread pudding.
