Beckers 1,136
Here's an old pic someone posted on IG I'd like to see how this spot compares to what it looks like now. Anyone have a guess of where the exact location is? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk BradyBzLyn...Mo

Travisma 1,317
They look like the war canoes we used in 77 for the Marshmellow Marsh Excursion. We just stayed in the canals, didn't go into the lake. LONE-STAR
dvccamper 32
I think it looks too wide open to be in the MK. Was there anything in the comments that gave more info? Unless maybe Big Thunder hadn't been built yet...i would have expected to see that in the background.
Beckers 1,136
Someone commented saying the same, they don't think it's MK. They very easily could be wrong about its location in the original post
Specularius 102
looks like the rail road trestle that is on the north side of where Big Thunder Mountain is now located. Big Thunder Mountain did not open until 1980 so it would not have been there in 1972.
keith_h 420
I wish the picture were lighter so you could see the background better. I wonder if it might be Disneyland. This would have been around the same time that the canoes would reopen as Davy Crockett's Canoes and Bear Country opened. The Indian Village would have been removed by then opening up the view of the train if my recollection is correct.

I am not the best in the world with this stuff but I think you can make out a little more.

Only the old small train station (the red one) would have been nearby.
