campingmommy aka Kelli 7
Hmmmm...maybe they will have them when I visit in a few weeks! Lol! Probably...not! But I sure do miss FW merchandise! I have a shirt I got over 2 years ago that I hate to wear cause I don't want to wear it out!
canadianfockerfiend Trevor 1
This is good news. Next trip we can buy more stuff lol
ftwildernessguy 778
That's one of the good things about camping at the Fort - lots of room in the trailer to bring stuff home.
AuburnJen 777
This is not a new rumor and the complaints about this have been piling up since the day they stopped making resort specific merchandise. Knowing Disney as we all do, they will have the Tshirts ready about the time it starts to cool off in October. :rofl2:
H in SC 85
That would be great and about time Disney. :D
Avatab.... Steve 124
While playing checkers at the Meadows this January, we met the man in charge of merchandise for FW and the WL. He asked if we had found everything we were looking for......Why NO, we both replied! and proceeded to tell him we wanted the FW stuff to come back.He told us that he was well aware of the requests for same and he had been asking his bosses to bring it back for awhile but that it was up to them not him.He did say that he was told it "almost" a done deal. He then told us how he recently found a FW hitch cover in the back room and had held a quick auction for it at the TP with a bunch of guests. :D  :rofl2: >:D
daddyphat808 - Eric 16
Let it be true I really need some new shirts.
MicknMin...Holly 54
I hope the rumor is true! They stopped selling Fort merchandise right after we bought our motorhome. I would love to have some Fort stuff to decorate the MH.
beccaewert 10
you wouldn't think that Disney would mess with the almighty $dollar$, and would bring back what the "people" want!
4Brians.....Todd 103
I was surprised that there was no "fort gear" when we were there 2 years ago. My daughters would love shirts. Also, my wife saw one of the fort throw blankets somewhere, and wants one for our toyhauler.Any idea where I can get my hands on one of those???
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Sadly the best bet these days for finding Fort gear is eBay.
DaveInTN 3,247
I'm another one that has really missed the Fort merchandise. Even if we didn't buy much, it was so fun shopping at the Trading Posts. And quite often we would pick up a shirt, sweatshirt, or something for the RV. I hope it returns. You know, I am really with you Dave here. This was one of the reasons I loved going to the posts was to look at what was new as far as Fort merchandise. It is one of the few things that I will wear other than something that says Auburn!
canadianfockerfiend Trevor 1
I'm sure with Disney putting a park in China they also inked a deal to get a bunch of chinese crap brought across for us at a much cheaper price to them so they can mark it up huge.
AuburnJen 777
Don't they buy all their crap from China already? :rofl2:
canadianfockerfiend Trevor 1
Yes but now they can get it even cheaper.
Roller ... aka Ed 351
No, they buy cheaper but still sell at a ridiculously inflated prices. :banghead:
AuburnJen 777
Maybe they can follow Walmart's lead and LOWER their prices. :banghead:Yeah, right. :banghead:
canadianfockerfiend Trevor 1
Jen walmart doesn't lower prices just like they don't have sales. They roll back there prices.
