halla 8
We just finished our latest project before leaving for the fort in 2 weeks. We made awning lights out of the bowling pin slushy cups from Splitsville. Couple years of collecting and a little ingenuity paid off. CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
I wish we could use awning lights. Miss them. But we have a Girard awning with a wind sensor, and if it decided to pull itself in awning lights would tear it up.

dblr....Rennie 224
I wish we could use awning lights. Miss them. But we have a Girard awning with a wind sensor, and if it decided to pull itself in awning lights would tear it up. Defeats the purpose of a wind sensor but can you turn it off? The new electric awnings are a pain but can be secured now with a mod a couple of my friends made up.

Retired and Happy (Ken) 101
I like 'em. Wish we could use something like that, but our awning is so horizontal, we have to bring it in whenever the dew gets heavy, or we will collect eater to quench the arid western states.
