Travisma 1,317
Most stations in Tampa are between $1.95 and $1.99. Have been around 1.99 for at least 2 weeks. There are a couple around $1.89 and a few holdouts still around $2.20.
h2odivers...Ray 952
I have mixed emotions about low gas prices. I love paying less than $2.00 / gallon but I live in Oklahoma and own minerals. It really effects our economy negatively.
CJHokie 43
I paid 1.92/gal yesterday at BJs in Concord, but it's 1.97-2.02 elsewhere around.

ftwildernessguy 778
Gas prices low means stock market dropping. Good for my gas budget on vacation, bad for my retirement fund.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Gas was $1.999 here a week ago. Now it's back up to $2.059. Diesel is still $2.199. But that's the cheapest we've seen diesel since we bought our DP in 2006.

Very true, although since I'm about to purchase 300 gallons of gas in the next month or so, I'm ok with the prices dropping.

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I'm assuming your talking about heating oil.Just curious but about how long will that last you this winter? Actually I meant gas for our trip to the Fort in a few weeks (round trip). But we will probably get heating oil soon, especially with the prices so low. On an average winter, if we got 300 gallons now, it would probably get us to early Feb. Last winter was another story altogether. It took us 3 full tanks to get through the winter plus a cord of wood. I'm really hoping we'll be back to "normal" this winter.
swimmarz 72
Ugh I don't miss heating oil, when I last purchase it it was $4/gallon and I had a 300 gallon tank that got filled 3-4 times a year. My boiler would use 1 gallon per hour and also fired the hot water heater on cold days I could count on it being on 5-6 hours a day

fladogfan aka Gretchen 259
You remember the Mobil station near the I-4 and 535 intersection? The one who has had prices up over $5.00 at times? Well, they lowered their price all the way down to $2.89. They did stay at $2.99 for a while. Everyone else in and around Disney is close to $2.00 plus or minus.

Wow - maybe they actually decided they wanted to sell some gas! :rofl2: How about the one on the way over to the outlets on the other side of I4? They were up around $6 a gallon last fall. mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Just bought mid-grade gas for $1.94 a gallon in Carthage, TN yesterday. Regular unleaded was $1.

Travisma 1,317
Isn't it odd that it can take weeks for gas to drop from $2.15 to $1.95, but after 2 weeks at that price it only took 2 days for it to jump back up to $2.15.Lowest we saw was a couple of outlying stations down to $1.89.
