Back Gate???Off to the side of the day guest/overflow parking lot, is a gate that the Disney busses use. Depending on what Disney person you ask, your Magic Band will or will not work opening the gate. The general consensus on this site is that they do work there (my daughters wouldn't open the returning guest gate, but it opened the bus gate)... but remember, sometimes the MB's don't read for whatever reason so you will be stuck at that gate with possibly a bus or two behind you. I think there is a camera/intercom system there that connects to the front desk if you have a problem. If you come thru the front returning guest gate and the MB doesn't work, at least security is there to check your ID and open the gate for you. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

On a separate note, last time we camped at the fort, either the MB readers have an amazing range,or the gates just lifted on their own. (Or a guard I guess) on a couple of occasions I didn't even have time to roll the window down before the gates were coming up! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
