h2odivers...Ray 952
There's still a slim chance we will make it WDW around the Christmas break. DW isn't thrilled about prospect of it as she wants to go to the beach. Well I suggested we go to Hollywood beach Florida for a few days and than to Orlando. We had stayed and loved Hollywood beach many years ago. She asked if the water was warmer on the Atlantic side of Florida? We stayed in north redding tom beach a few years ago and the water was definitely cold. Are we going to be far enough south for the water not to freeze our toes off? fladogfan aka Gretchen 259
Usually the gulf is warmer than the Atlantic side and can be pleasant to swim in if the air temps are a wee bit cooler.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
We've been to the beach in Miami (not super far from Hollywood) and the Keys (a good bit further south) in late November and we found it to be plenty warm to swim. BUT... we're from NH.
swimmarz 72
I lived in Boca Raton for 5 years while attending college, I love it over there. Sometimes you can find a deal at the Waldorf Astoria if your not camping, Last time i stayed there i used some Points and some money, I think is was 10,000 points/ night +$90.the hotel is normally mid $300+ a night so it was a deal to me we stated at the boca beach club resort and its Amazing,
