Walt Disney World Live Twitter Account - NEW

Recommended Posts

Just a few days ago, the Walt Disney World Resort announced the introduction of a brand-new Twitter account, known as @WDWToday. This official account offers Guests suggestions, tips, and answers to their questions during their visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. This new social media account (which will also feature special opportunities to interact with Walt Disney World Cast Members) is currently in a soft launch and will officially go live starting from August 24.

This was officially announced on the Disney Parks Blog today:

Would you like suggestions for the best places to catch the 3 p.m. parade at Magic Kingdom Park or where to get a photo with Goofy at Disney’s Animal Kingdom?

Today we are announcing the launch of a new Twitter account designed specifically for guests to use during their Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Similar to @DisneylandToday for guests visiting the Disneyland Resort, @WDWToday provides tips and suggestions, as well as responses to questions during regular park hours.

The next time you visit Walt Disney World Resort, don’t forget to follow @WDWToday on Twitter and tweet us your questions.

It's interesting that guests are being encouraged to use the account for advice and tips while they are in the parks.

Should be interesting.

Somebody's got to try this out!

I'll be curious to see what kinds of responses people get and how quickly they get them.

Well, it looks like the Twitter account is dispensing the same type of useless information that is provided by the other Disney social media accounts.

Here's one question and answer (and guest response) from yesterday:

This guest asked a good question, which was intentionally ignored:

Nothing to see here folks.
