BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Rut roh. There's been the question of how the building of a second ride track will effect ride operation in general. But... can HS really afford for one of their (very few) premier attractions to be down for any major length of time these days?

But... can HS really afford for one of their (very few) premier attractions to be down for any major length of time these days? They already have a contingency plan in place. Guests will be redirected to enjoy the recently refurbished Great Movie Ride, where they can take in the new TCM commercials presentations.
Beckers 1,136
there is almost no reason for us to visit there if this is closed when we go
Beckers 1,136
I think people would be more receptive to everything closing if they told people their plans. They really should add some rare characters meet and greets or something to make up for the lack of stuff to do

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
But if you didn't have an AP, would you take time to go there? Good question! As much as I love TOT, I would not burn a 1-day ticket at HS without TSM.
momof3kids-Yvonne 596
When I asked my girls what were must do things at HS for them neither mentioned TSM.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Good question! As much as I love TOT, I would not burn a 1-day ticket at HS without TSM.I find it extremely hard to justify ANY ticket purchase except for an Annual Pass. We simply don't have the desire or energy to spend all day in a park any more. I would so feel obligated to spend the entire day in the park with an expiring multi-day ticket, cause once you step through the turnstyle, that day is burned forever. We simply don't have the desire or energy to spend all day in a park any more. We went to Busch Gardens the other night. My granddaughter went on 1 ride, then we went to the summer special show and fireworks, then left.Usually when we go to the parks we let the kids decide where we go and what we do.That's what I hate about the fast pass system, it ties you down and makes you scurry from point A to point B like a lab rat on crack. Beckers 1,136
If we didn't have hoppers (only have because to get "free dining" you had to have hoppers or water park) we wouldn't go. It's just not worth a day.

OK not really, but I'd ride TSM all day long if the wait wasn't so long - or at least until my arm fell off. If it's down, HS may be the park we pop into just to ride TOT & RNRC, on our way to the International Gateway for F&W.

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I managed 3 rides in a row thanks to a relatively slow day in November, a FP and jumping back in line right at park close. My arm felt like jello.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
From Kenny the Pirate... As of 8/13/15 FP+ for TSMM is unavailable from October 15 through 27. http://www.kennythepirate.com/2015/08/13/rumor-round-up-2/ I still haven't heard anything official on this. Has anyone else? If it's down, HS may be the park we pop into just to ride TOT & RNRC, on our way to the International Gateway for F&W. We booked FP's for TOT and RNRC for the afternoon we get in, along with Star Tours. Figure to spend no more than a few hours there anyway, but TSM didn't even come into the equation.
