He asked me if I knew what was included in the cable modem kit. He plans on bringing a router and wireless access point in order to setup wifi. But he needs to know what is included so that he knows what cables to bring. Has anyone gotten one recently? Or is there a Fiend-page on this? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The kit included 2 30 foot coax cables, 1 Ethernet cable, 1 1 foot coax jumper cable, 1 cable splitter, 1 Linksys cable modem, 1 power cord for the modem, and 1 instruction sheet. I think the second 30 foot coax and splitter are included in case you also want to connect to the park cable TV. I also connected my wireless router to the modem. Very easy to set up. You just hook a splitter up to your cable and run one cable to the tv the other to the modem and then hook an Ethernet cable to your router from the modem.
