We originally planned our park day there, but decided at the last minute to change to Hollywood Studios. DHS was a little crowded, but nothing unmanageable. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

So what do people do that pay for MK but are directed elsewhere when that park is at capacity? And with the heat wave, ice cream and soda sales must be phenomenal. Looks like they're still trying to manage rush hour traffic over by Hollywood Studios. There are reports that while the park was still open to everyone, they closed the parking lot at 4:15 and redirected people to park at Epcot. However by 5:10, the parking lot was open again. Well that's good to hear, especially with all the talk of "record crowd levels" in the past month or so. The week is still young, but honestly there have been other Christmas weeks in recent years where there were almost daily closures at MK. Now New Year's Eve ... all bets are off. When we were heading to get on the Fort Wilderness bus, we were asked if we were staying there.
