BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
From Orlando Theme Park News... Select Disney Resort Guests to Participate in Dining Test Tuesday, June 16, 2015 | Posted by OTPN administrator Starting from now and through June 30, 2015, select Guests staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney’s Contemporary Resort have been (or will be) asked to participate in a dining test that will provide direct transportation to other resort hotel signature restaurants. While anyone staying at the aforementioned hotel may be eligible to participate in this test, only pre-selected Guests will be able to do so during that time. The signature restaurants that will participate in this limited-time test include the following:Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness LodgeJiko at Disney’s Animal Kingdom LodgeFlying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. As part of the test, Guests will receive complimentary round-trip taxi vouchers that will be delivered to their rooms upon arrival. By doing this, the Walt Disney World Resort hopes to better understand Guest's interest in resort-to-resort dining. If this test proves to be successful, the internal transportation system may receive some minor changes in the future. We will continue to keep you up-to-date. http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/2015/06/select-disney-resort-guests-to.html
h2odivers...Ray 952
I can't see running a full six bus running from the Grand, Poly, and or Contempo running to those three different resorts. Maybe a shuttle van. I just don't see that by people have dining rescues at the same time.
ependydad...Doug 176
Doing *something* would be nice. When going resort to resort, we generally will grab a taxi.

We usually drive, but I'd much rather take Disney transport of some kind if that was an option.
Beckers 1,136
We hardly ever do it just because of the hassle involved. We never have a car and would need 2 car seats to use a taxi, and the current way is just too much work/time for it to be worth it.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
We eat at other resorts quite often, mostly Epcot resorts. We bus to Studios and walk to the resort, then either walk back to Studios, or wander through Epcot and bus back to the Fort. (Even if Epcot closed within the last 30 minutes, telling them at the International Gateway turnstyle.... "my car is in the Epcot lot", will get you through Epcot) BradyBzLyn...Mo
Starbuc71 162
I agree, getting to other resorts especially from the campground through Disney transportation is a task in itself. Here has been our trips the past few months:FW to beach club- 1 hr 45 minutes in MayFW to AKL- 1 hrAKL to FW - 1 hr 30 minPoly to FW-(during rain) 2 hoursMaybe once they hold some new sort of bus hub at the Richard Petty driving xperince it will incorporate resort to resort trans.
