Guidemaps Availability Reduced at Magic Kingdom Park Wednesday, May 27, 2015 | Posted by OTPN administrator Since the introduction of MyMagic+ and the My Disney Experience mobile app, Guests have had the convenience of managing their entire Walt Disney World Resort visit on the go. As more Guests have begun using this powerful tool to access real time information about all of their offerings (including park maps and showtimes), The Walt Disney World Resort has an opportunity to reduce the usage of paper guidemaps and times guides throughout the park. Beginning Sunday, May 31, guidemaps and times guides will only be available at the following locations at the Magic Kingdom Park (they will no longer be available in select indoor locations):Park entryCity HallAll Merchandise storesAny outdoor cart (foods and merchandise)As a reminder, paper guidemaps will still be available in French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish at City Hall (located on Main Street) and park entry for Guests visiting from other countries. http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/2015/05/guidemaps-availability-reduced-at-magic.html Quote Link to post Share on other sites

mouseketab.....Carol 1,261 Posted May 28, 2015 Report Share Posted May 28, 2015 That was one quirk about Disneyland, the only place you could get a guidemap is at the entrances, and from custodial. I asked about it as I was wandering past registers at a store, looking for guide maps in a holder and was told that their rule was they wanted a CM to hand it to you and assist you in finding something.
