Let us know what you find out- it was a big area.

Thanks for the very un-Troll-like comments. :) Curly Antlers: I Think that they are Kudu. Basically a weird name for an antelope Kudu, maybe- but "Curly Antlers" is easy to remember. ....ghost ...ghost Spooky. I guess the Haunted Mansion ghosts really do follow you home! Here is the thread about it: http://www.easywdw.com/forums/showthread.php?26985-Kilimanjaro-safari-we-crashed I saw that. I'm weird and would love to have something like that happen (as long as there are no injuries and it doesn't mar my schedule too badly). Just finished catching up. I love your trip report so far. ependydad...Doug 176
In my typical fashion, I let this one languish. Let's move along with more brief comments. I stood in the same amount of line as this sucker and don't have a heavy sticker or button or whatever it is weighing me down: In case you need to get your drink on, Animal Kingdom is the place to do it to the tune of $15+ a drink (oh heck no): Care to guess where we are now? Maybe some snuggles will tip you off: Let's just say I'm not Lyin', I'm the King and was here for a festival: (I think I enjoyed these monkey's the most.) We approve: But, with that- we were done at Animal Kingdom. We never seem to spend a whole lot of time there. Today was no different, I believe we had dinner reservations at Fulton's Crab House. So, out we go: After getting to Downtown Disney, we wandered through the art shop. It's fun to look, though we never buy anything. I saw this and chuckled: Walking past the Lego Store, the dragon wanted its picture taken: We got a table in the upstairs of Fulton's Crab House. The good was getting to see the amphibious cars- they're kind of neat to see, but no chance I'm spending a lot of money for someone to drive me around. I'll let Disney Transportation do that. Unfortunately, it was in a big room with a lot of noise and my wife's head hurt. It didn't help that the door to the kitchen was propped open and I'm pretty certain they were having a competition of throwing boxes of silverware. Clank, crash, boom. To top if off, this was the highlight of the meal. A shrimp cocktail: (Note, pay heed to the horseradish there- it'll light ya up.) Salmon and beans, just meh: "Shrimp Scampi". Fairly flavorless and wrong noodle. I guess they were going for creative, but it failed. Even the mashed potatoes were ho-hum: I lied, the free anniversary cake was as good as the shrimp cocktail: Our bill envelope. For those keeping track, this was 2 expensive and highly regarded meals that were just "meh". We make up for it later, though. And, I having my girl makes everything OK: Walking back across the bridge: With that, we made our way back to the room where we again enjoyed the balcony and set an alarm for noon the next day. (Yes, we're the type of people who need noon-time alarms.) Here's our agenda: Bright and bushy tailed, we were Disney Bounding as Rapunzel and Flynn. Notice her frying pan earrings. First up, the Festival of Fantasy parade. Right out of the gate, Belle and the Beast showed up. Can someone explain why the movie ended with his transformation yet Disney entraps him in his evil character forever? My personal favorite, Cinderella and some jerk: Princess Tiana and her prince: And... awkward photo limit stop. :D
ependydad...Doug 176
Moving along from that awkward break and to try and work through this TR. Next up, the Frozone:(I really feel like Disney needs to up it's game and make it cold around their float- blast some A/C into the crowd and throw ice cubes at us.) This Rapunzel wasn't nearly as beautiful as mine: See?\ And now a scene from Splash: Wendy and her girlfriend Peter: Apparently Captain Hook is a Bottom: Stinkerbell: Disney keep's mixing it up with Veronica from Twilight: And let's be honest, everyone's favorite is the badass dragon. Let's take a LOT of photos of this: Setting fire to the Town Square Theatre: And the hapless on the Train Station: Sadly, they can't end on a dark note. Here's a puppet: I still believe that Pluto got gypped... Goofy walks and talks, and Pluto, well, he's just a dog. More parade stuff: "We have to remember, it all started with a mouse." We must have headed up Main St. after the parade. She was looking cute, so I had her stop for a pic: I see now, back to our agenda- my favorite ride! What's interesting, this shade wasn't there for the 24-hour event. But was there now. AND was there this past week when we were at MK. Fighting solves problems: Close up of the frying pan earrings: And themed necklace: And color-coordinated bracelets: A selfie, if you can see it: And then, my hero was out! Hitting on my woman: He loves me, too: Getting fresh: Wait a minute... I don't like where this is going: Where is it going? Stay tuned!
ependydad...Doug 176
WHAT THE HELL, BUZZ?! THAT'S MY WOMAN! Ok, work calls... I'll update as we make our way around Magic Kingdom.

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Your beautiful bride gets an A+ for her Disneybounding outfit. But how is a guy in cargo shorts and a plaid shirt Flynn Rider? Your photos and commentary are very good, though. I especially loved some of your parade comments. Funny stuff. Ok, fixed it and then cut out a picture of me. Your beautiful bride gets an A+ for her Disneybounding outfit. But how is a guy in cargo shorts and a plaid shirt Flynn Rider? Your photos and commentary are very good, though. I especially loved some of your parade comments. Funny stuff. TCD As it goes- I think we both know who picks out and tells me what I'm going to wear. The Flynn Rider: Loosely- similarly colored shirts and shorts and clearly, I'm with Rapunzel. But, if you still don't see it- take it up with the boss' complaint department. ependydad...Doug 176
Ok, so I left off with Buzz making a move on my woman. I have to give the PhotoPass photographer credit- she/he took like 40 photos of the whole interaction with my phone. It was pretty funny to see them all. We ended up with some cute pics. But, since Buzz buzzed my lady, it was time to beat feet out of there. At some point, we decided to selfie in front of all of the different land signs. So, here's Adventureland. And a quick smooch by Frontierland: What I was really after was a quick serve snack/meal that got vetoed during the 24-hour event... specialty waffle fries: I got the pulled pork: (I'm always proud of establishments who know to put the coleslaw directly on the pork like it should be done.) That was marred by a trip to a horror of a bathroom: We checked out my bride's cell house from a distance: And then went to checkout the mine train: We wanted to ride It's a Small World, but It's A Down. Clearly a CM confused by why I would take her picture (for the trip report, of course!): And then one of the more creepy character interactions: (Guys who dress up like Peter Pan should take note to the real Peter Pan- his Peter is covered by more than just tights. I saw things at the 24-hour event that you don't get to take back.) And then, we saw this. I didn't have the nerve to take a picture of the rest of her as I was trying to be non-obvious, but still.. And then we went to see the Hall of Presidents. We tried to see this for the 24-hour event, but we just missed one and didn't want to wait around after being couped up in the Main Street Theatre. So now we watched it. Some more walking around. Clearly geeked up and excited about BEING AT DISNEY WORLD! I have no idea, but she lets me play. We decided on a train ride around the park before heading out for dinner: Where Snow White got off: I'm not sure with who, as her dwarfs were nowhere to be found. Camping: Contemporary: I'm so FANCY: I think if I tried, I could find our room: (But, I'm not going to try.) On the boat to the Grand Floridian for dinner. Let me tell you- being kidless and not worrying strollers, and kids, and all the extra crap we carry was GLORIOUS. We literally walked up and got onto the boat. That's unheard of! The Polynesian: The Grand Floridian: Artsy Toy: Selfie behind Narcoossee's: Selfie in front of Narcoossee's: And folks, that's the picture limit. Which is good because Narcoossee's deserves its own TR entry, it was that damned good.

DaveInTN 3,247
There's a reason Peter Pan is typically played by a woman. Well, couple of reasons actually. But you hit upon a very important one....the prefer-ability of a junk-free Pan.

Narcoossee's? NARCOOSSEE'S. Expensive. Very expensive. But very good. In fact, when my mother-in-law joins us next week, my wife is already planning on another date night dinner there. It truly looks like you two had the best time. That is awesome. And too funny on the Peter Pan comment...yikes! We had a wonderful time. It was really perfect. And yes- yikes! There's a reason Peter Pan is typically played by a woman. Well, couple of reasons actually. But you hit upon a very important one....the prefer-ability of a junk-free Pan. Peter-less Pan is the Preferred Peter Pan.
