Carter's Quest 0
We will be taking a 6 month roadtrip concluding with Halloween weekend at the Fort. What supplies other than costumes and strings of lights do I need to pack in the RV ?
DaveInTN 3,247
WELCOME!!! I've never been for Halloween, but I think for any holiday at the Fort it all depends on what you want to do. If you want to go nuts decorating, you can do that. If you want to turn out the lights and just put out a bowl of starlight mints, then by all means do that. Or anything in between. And I have to say....I hope you have an AWESOME 6 months!!
Grumpy and Grandma 740
If your participating in Camp & Treat you will need "lots and lots" of candy. Last year we went through about 40 lbs. :eek:Almost forgot : Carter's Quest
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
WELCOME!!! The sky's the limit! Tons of kids come trick or treating and especially since it is Saturday night this year, Halloween is a big party at the Fort. Lots of folks looping around in carts, many groups including the Fiends having parties and cookouts at their site, just a fun, fun time!

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
40 lbs!! Man... that's a lot of candy corn. Halloween 2013 we were in the 500 loop and burned through 40lbs in an hour, and that was with one piece per kid. This year Halloween is a Satureday and the Fort has been booked solid for months. Plan accordingly.
