michaeljsz 5
Hi Everyone, I would assume there's a past thread regarding thins but I've had no luck finding anything. We purchased an RV this past October and since we live in upstate NY it went right into winter storage and didn't come out till yesterday when I drove it to fill it up with Diesel yesterday in preparation to leave for the fort this coming Saturday. I got out at the gas station and couldn't believe how dirty it was. So that got me thinking of just how dirty its going to be by the time we get to the fort. I was planning on stopping at a Blue beacon truck was but it shows 70% chance of rain now for Orlando next Sunday when were scheduled to arrive so it made me have second thoughts about paying to have it cleaned en route if it's going to just get dirty again before arriving. Is it ok to wash on your site? Any suggestions?
DaveInTN 3,247
I've washed on my site many times. They no longer allow the professionals to come in with power washers and such, but I don't think they've stopped individuals from washing at the site.

Memphis 105
Like the others have said you may wash on your site. Last I heard the pros can still wash your RV in the overflow parking lot just not at your site because of noise from pressure washers and buffers.

Classact....Mike 17
You can skip Grumpy's. Drove past this morning and it's already spotless. Ours on the other hand still has some Tennessee salt on it so come on over to 500. You wash and get free beer. Or soda.
