In most cases there isn't a "best" way- there's only one way. From the Fort to Downtown Disney, take the bus from the Outpost. From the Fort to Wilderness Lodge, take the bus from the Settlement Depot or the resort boat from the marina. How long will it take? Not long once the transportation shows up (probably 15 minutes to Downtown Disney, maybe 10 minutes to the Lodge). But, you could wait up to 20 minutes, and in rare cases longer, for the bus or boat to arrive at the stop. TCD Quote Link to post Share on other sites
