tinkcrafter 0
I just called Fort Wilderness and was told they no longer allow guests to park campers/trailers at the Fort while they are cruising or staying at another Disney resort. I explained we are staying at AKV club level for three nights (first time ever, for my birthday) then going to Disney's Vero Beach for three nights this summer and then checking into the Fort for 5-7 nights. Does anyone know of another overflow lot or parking area either on Disney Property or off so that we do not have to drag camper down to Vero Beach and back? We are already hauling from upstate NY. Thanks in advance!
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Sorry, don't know. You will be able to park it at AKV lot while you are there. Why don't you ask at AKV while you are there. They don't have as much of a parking problem....
ependydad...Doug 176
I would imagine most of the surrounding campgrounds have storage capabilities. I know the Thousand Trails in Clermont does, but I don't know if you have to be a member to use it.
AuburnJen 777
I am with Carol. The parking at the Fort has become a premium commodity. I would think a manager at another resort would be far more accommodating.
