MLM5.. aka Judy 97
Hello my fellow fiends! It has come to pass that we are going to wait alittle longer on purchasing a TT and sticking with the tent for a while. I currently have a 19 x 12 Coleman three room tent. I had no major issues with it last year. The overhead lighting feature was a joke and I broke it on the first trip and I have never been rained on as of yet so I'm not sure how it will do then but otherwise, I love it. Now we have several trips planned this year and I need to figure out how to cool it. Has anyone got any suggests? I have been looking at the AC Boot on the web but havent been able to find any reviews? Anyone use this? I have no mechanical skill (but I'll try anything once, twice if I'm feeling froggy :rofl2:), and hubby really doesnt share in my enthusiasm of camping so I will more than likely be on my own a few times, I need something easy and effective, lets hear it from the experts! :popo:
beccaewert 10
there is a portable a/c unit at Sam's club for $120.00,....its made for "inside" and you don't have to mess with the boot and large window a/c units....you just plug it in and turn it on.....don't know if that is an easier option for you? Otter Spotter aka Debbie 58
If you plan on camping during the hot summer, I highly recommend an A/C for your tent.
Momoffive aka Loretta 34
I need to budget a trip to Sams Club!! I would love one of these for the Condo tent if we need it, but we could use it in the garage in the summer. I hate tent camping in the heat of summer!
Otter Spotter aka Debbie 58
Okay - so in order to be helpful on this thread...if you are seriously considering an A/C for your tent (which I seriously recommend), you may also want to consider looking at this....http://acboot.com/
ftwildernessrick 10
That AC boot is pretty neat. Glad someone came out with one & it sure beat the way I used to rig one.
