CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Tuesday, October 28 -- Another Day Enjoying the Magic Kingdom -- Part 1 If we were on our normal two-week trip, we'd be going home this morning. It was wonderful to know that we had another full week! We headed down to the Settlement to again have breakfast at TE. David was almost ready to go, so I rode down, thinking he would beat me there. I was wrong. Finally he arrived, and we had breakfast. TouringPlans said MK would be a 2 today, so we headed over there. Score!
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Tuesday, October 28 -- Another Day Enjoying the Magic Kingdom -- Part 2 Our first FP was for: Someone (again, I think a TCD suggestion) had said there were great views from the Liberty Belle. We hadn't experienced her in 20+ years, so off we went! To be continued ...
h2odivers...Ray 952
Great pics. Seeing all the MK makes me home sick, and excited for our up coming trip. 20 days and I'll be seeing it for myself.

Thanks, Ray. I'm homesick too and wish I were seeing it again in 20 days! Me too... well, the homesick part... not the 20 days I know the feeling ... I love all of your photos from the Liberty Belle! CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Tuesday, October 28 -- Another Day Enjoying the Magic Kingdom -- Part 3 More from the Liberty Belle: All too soon our cruise ended and we were back on dry land. Next we took another cruise, but this one was into the jungle! That cruise also ended all too soon. We had a long walk to our next destination -- one that David didn't want to ride, but I wanted to take pictures. So off we went. I was in Frontierland and took this next photo with my long zoom: We finally arrived at the Hundred Acre Wood. Ever notice the railings there? Disney just doesn't miss any details. ... to be continued.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Tuesday, October 28 -- Another Day Enjoying the Magic Kingdom -- Part 4 We walked around awhile just enjoying the scenery. I always take too many photos of this area, but it's so picturesque! We headed back toward Main Street. The NC flag: We stopped at the ice cream parlor again for raspberry sorbet and mint chocolate. We shopped in the Emporium but again didn't buy anything. I found a jacket I really liked, but it fit a little funny and they didn't have one big enough for me. Another shot of the bungalows. Another score! Another RC shot. It was a different time of day, and I think this is better than the ones I posted earlier. We again took Kassie looping. More Halloween decorations: I cooked dinner -- shrimp scampi, stewed squash with parmesan, and asparagus with a touch of oregano. Pics don't look appetizing, but the meal was really good! Okay first the asparagus you cooked looked amazing!! :) Second...decorations. I'm always amazed at just how much work some people go through to set up their site! I mean, if you don't live local (I'm guessing) that some guests have to bring a separate trailer just for all their decorations! Kuddos for their effort! Apparently I am a lazy camper because we may put out a pumpkin and make a Mickey out of pine cones... but that's about it :) I sure enjoy others efforts though! Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Those were some good updates! That photo you took of Tomorrowland from Frontierland is really cool. Where were you where you could get that clear a view of Tomorrowland? And, wow, y'all eat good when you camp! TCD
Seals 111
Well, now my computer screen is wet from where I licked that mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I really like asparagus but generally only when I cook it myself. I'm pretty picky about it. I'm always amazed at the decorations too. A friend of mine lives full-time at the fort and also has property nearby. She is one of the former big decorators and she pulled in an enclosed trailer stuffed with decorations every year. Those were some good updates! That photo you took of Tomorrowland from Frontierland is really cool. Where were you where you could get that clear a view of Tomorrowland? And, wow, y'all eat good when you camp! TCD Thank you! I don't remember exactly where I was in Frontierland. I just remember being shocked that I could see Tomorrowland from there. We eat good and quick. That whole meal took less than a half hour to prepare. And we had leftovers for another day. But generally I have precooked meals in the freezer that I just have to reheat. That's one of the few meals I cooked from scratch while we were there. Well, now my computer screen is wet from where I licked that mint chocolate chip ice cream. Sorry 'bout that! CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Wednesday, October 29 -- The Day We Said Goodbye to AK -- Part 1 After cooking breakfast, doing some laundry, and getting ready, we arrived at AK around lunchtime. Look at all these epiphytes! Yet another angle: Sorry about the short post, but we watched Finding Nemo next and I want to keep all those photos together.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Wednesday, October 29 -- The Day We Said Goodbye to AK -- Part 2 David doesn't care for FOTLK, but he really likes Finding Nemo. So it's easy to get him to attend. Up next was another Safari trip, so we headed back that way. Again, sorry for another short post, but I want to keep my Safari pictures together. CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Wednesday, October 29 -- The Day We Said Goodbye to AK -- Part 3 Have you ever seen a hippo out of water? I hadn't before. Once the safari was over, we headed toward the exit. Goodbye, Animal Kingdom! Hope to see you next year! Dottie was strapped in for the ride back to the fort. Our neighbors were taking the Danes to the dog walk. The woman is about 5'2". Can you see the height on the male fawn? His back reached the woman's waist! Before we took Kassie looping, we had visitors: We got to enjoy their company several days during the trip! And a couple of Halloween shots: We found another Country Coach on the 1300 loop and visited with the owners awhile. They were a great couple from Lakeland. That was only the second CC we saw at the Fort this trip. We don't often run into other CC owners (other than CC-converted Prevosts).
