ceemike...Mike & Judy 50
We had a lunchtime visitor the other day, but I think he was looking for the 1000 loop.

ceemike...Mike & Judy 50
Those things always worry me when wandering around in broad daylight. Yeah, us too. I called the front desk & reported it & pest control came out & set some traps. Our neighbors are tent campers & I warned them too.

Memphis 105
Wow, that's the first coon I have ever seen at the Fort. I hope they catch and remove him. The coons are really a nuisance at Fort Desoto near St.Pete and the county officials that run the park do nothing to discourage them. They even have automatic watering locations around the campground. Probably a good thing otherwise they would be eating the hoses on campers. They will even go in you car while you are unloading to steel your food.

I, also, have never seen a raccoon at the Fort. I always thought they were used to make the hats sold in the trading posts. Which is fine by me. TCD

TCDI dare you to go in and ask them how much they would pay you if you caught him, skinned him, and made the cap yourself.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
I've only seen one the many visits to the Fort, and that was when I was out looping in the 2000 Loop very late at night.
cindymac11 43
I was almost eaten by an armadillo last time we were there. Or at least an armadillo walked in front of me. That's the same.
