DaveInTN 3,247
I can't imagine that thing doesn't leak.
5kidsmommy 18
That is a lot of work for a glorified tent that probably doesn't protect from the elements very well, plus there is no room to store the necessities for camping. Although it is kind of cool.
h2odivers...Ray 952
Where's the bathroom?
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Why does a camper need a bathroom? Cyclonic
h2odivers...Ray 952
Why does a camper need a bathroom?Because when I need to go, I need to go!And I'm afraid of the dark.Seriously. If I wake up in the middle of the night I don't want to walk to a CS to go to the bathroom. Wait didn't you just do an upgrade to your T&B?
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Oh, it's got a portapotty, just not a bathroom
LONE-STAR 370
That was like watching the end of Benny Hill.
Lou... 3,118
The best part about that video was the dogs.
YENSIDCAMPER 66
Whew, I am tired. My pop up is work but that thing is exhausting.
Memphis 105
No mater what I start out watching on youtube it always leads me to almost naked women falling on their face. Strange how that happens. I would love to know the overall time spent on set up. That looks like a lot of work and they still needed to throw a tarp over the whole thing to keep it dry. BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Ok that was cool but holy cow how long did it take?! I counted at least 2 wardrobe changes, the sun came out and moved halfway across the sky, and the dog took 2 naps. :rofl2: The tent part is pretty sweet though. Oh, and I'm going with leaks like a sieve.
Cyclonic 55
It takes an army a week to set that thing up, no thanks. Looks really, really flimsy. I at first thought it was a home build, but it looks like it isn't:
DinDavie 37
The weather changed before it was completely set up. Judging from the shadow changes it took most of the day
DaveInTN 3,247
Construction reminds me of a Barbie Dream House. Maybe not quite as solidly built.
Helmsey......Todd 134
Luckily it does not seem very air tight, otherwise it would be one good OOOHAAAAAANNAAAA from being blown back apart :D
ftwildernessguy 778
I got rid of my pop up because it was a pain in the butt to set up, and it was a snap compared to this thing. Maybe it would have gone better if the woman with the curly hair had done more than stand with her hands on her hips and get a drink from the tow vehicle.
Duane 152
I'm worn out from just watching those guys set that thing up...
fladogfan aka Gretchen 259
That tired me out too. And after all that work, they sit outside to eat. And we never get a tour of the innards. I'm on the 'it's going to leak' list.
5kidsmommy 18
It is apparently called a Rapido Folding Caravan. My brain is too fried today to do too much research but alas at least you have a name.
