Momof6....aka Marty 769
Everything is quiet here, so I am going to push on. Early the next morning, we made our way to the Marina to take a boat to the Contemporary. On the way, I noticed the construction walls that had been in front of Pioneer Hall were down, so I had my daughter snap some pictures: We took the boat to the Contemporary and then followed another great purple crayon drawing to walk to the Magic Kingdom. We got quickly through bag check and found great places to wait for rope drop. We could see some of the rope drop ceremony (which is still up at the railroad station), but were forward enough to close to the front of the line. Looking back, since we were planning to head to Space Mountain first, we probably should have been on the right side entrance. No big deal. But I am skipping ahead. Early morning picture from outside the Magic Kingdom: We had very little trouble making our way over to the right as we went down Main Street USA. My daughter snapped a picture of one of her obsessions: She also got a few pictures of the castle: My touring plan had us going to Space Mountain first. We were the second group to get there! But the ride was down. Major dissapointment. From there we headed to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. From there we went to the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I had always wanted to ride this and really enjoyed it. Next up was another first for me - the Mad Tea Party. I was the only one who didn't want to spin, so I rode all by myself. At this point, we sent someone back to check if Space Mountain was open. It was, so everyone but 7yo and me went on that. 7yo and I rode People Mover. She wasn't sure that would be okay and didn't like that it went through a section with no lights. *sigh* After that, I was completely tacky and did 7yo's hair while waiting outside Space Mountain exit. Rant on: Still, I don't think I was as tacky as the mom with the double stroller who parked the stroller in such a great position that everyone coming off of Space Mountain had to walk around the stroller. I tried to suggest she move it (when she was actually not on her phone for 20 seconds) and got glared at. Rant off. From there, we headed over to Under the Sea: The Journey of the Little Mermaid. And from there to Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Okay, that was about a third of my daughter's Dumbo ride photos. My goodness! Anyway, some rode that twice and some went on Goofy's Barnstormer. I was extremely tacky and fixed the moleskin on my blisters. Next up: More Magic Kingdom

Momof6....aka Marty 769
Your family pics are great! It seems they really enjoyed themselves and enjoy each other's company. We are very blessed that they get along so well. I think the homeschooling helps. They are with each other so much they are forced to get along. Love the update!!! World Showcase is one of our favorite places!! I would like to do it at a more relaxed pace and without the stress of making sure everyone else is having fun and staying with the group.I am so bad at this Disney-bounding thing. Thanks for sharing that-I never would have guessed Ellie from Up! Now that I see the picture of Ellie, though, your daughter did a great job. TCDSome Disneybounds are harder to get than others. She was constantly pointing out other outfits to me and telling me what they were. I usually just took her word for it. :) I'm late to the party, but really enjoying your report, Marty!Thank you and welcome! Did you get the drink that you were saving up for at Epcot? TCD I got what amounted to a large shot of beer from Mexico while waiting for Illuminations. I really hope to do the World Showcase with some Fiends some day.Caramel pictures AND fish and chips pics? Nicely done! I will pass on your compliments! :) Every time I read "Bob".... I think Bob was with you?I need to get used to your son's name bring Bob. Momof6....aka Marty 769
I am finally trying to catch up on all theposts I missed in TCD's Shining New Era trip report. Reading about what he had at Epcot's Food and Wine reminded me that while in Epcot we stopped for lunch in Germany. 15yo had mentioned that he had some sort of doughnut in Germany. He did. It was not from the Bakery, it was from the F&W booth. He had the Berliner. Remember when Kennedy said, "I am a Berliner!"? He inadvertantly told the crowd he was a doughnut. LOL 17yo and 12yo had the Schinkennudeln which was like macaroni and cheese with ham. I had the Roast bratwurst on a pretzel roll. Yum Rebekah had bought caramel corn in the bakery. I thought I saw pictures of it but now can't find them. Sorry!
Momof6....aka Marty 769
Nice work with the Pioneer Hall photos! Who is your daughter Disneybounding as on the MK day? TCDI had her take those with you in mind! Older daughter Disneybounded as Princess Anna that day and younger daughter was Queen Elsa. They had fastpasses to meet the Frozen ladies later in the day and wanted to honor them with their outfits.
fladogfan aka Gretchen 259
WOW Marty, this TR is flying. Love the smiles. Photos are great. Little one, tho shouldn't say 'little one' as she will be taller than me next year, will get over her fear of scary rides. Just let her age a bit. Good Mom not making her do the ones she was leery of, tho doing EE as a first ride eeek! Do you think she would have liked Soarin'? My non-roller coaster friend loves Soarin'. Next time. What a wonderful idea to take all the kiddos as a group while they are all still home. Too, too soon they will be out on their own. What memories you made.

Momof6....aka Marty 769
I know by some standards I am flying through the trip report, but already things are getting confused in my mind. I had said that we went from Winnie the Pooh to teacups and then to Space Mountain. The photo evidence seems to belie this. It looks like we did Little Mermaid, Dumbo, then Teacups and Space Mountain. Fun note: I was going through the numerous pictures my daughter had taken of the Teacups hoping to find ones of us on it rather than strangers. That was the first time I noticed something comes out of the middle teapot: I just learned something doing my own trip report! There! In the blue teacup in the middle of the photo is me in a teacup wearing a FF hat! Next is when the older offspring went to Space Mountain. Here they are in line: And now with a flash: Next, we meet one of my older daughter's favorites - Gaston! (There will be many gaston pictures. Sorry.) 19yo tried to take a selfie with Gaston. He figured selfie means only him. She finally explained she wanted a picture of both of them. Then he talked about himself. When he said he was not interested in marrying my daughter becasue his heart belonged to Belle, my 15yo stepped up to defend his sister's honor. The handler stepped in before it came to blows. he settled things down so we could all get a picture with Gaston. Next, my oldest bought a LeFrou Brew at Gaston's Tavern. (And you thought the Gaston pictures were over. Ha!) Some random photos from Fantasyland: At this point, we were ahead of schedule. Our Seven dwarves Mine Train ride fastPass+ didn't start until 12:05pm amd it was closer to 11:30am. We decided to try to meet peter Pan. Turns out, he now meets over in AdventureLand. That was too far to get to right now. So we went on It's a Small World. Next up: More Magic Kingdom, starting with the Mine Train Ride!

What memories you made.On the other hand, I really didn't like Soarin' when I went on it with the Wild Womenz last January. I kept feeling like I was going to fall out. Next time, i will use the Sissy Strap. One of the reasons i really pushed for this trip is because I know they are getting older. My oldest boy is pushing to finish high school so he can join the military. I comfort myself thinking of the military discount. LOL Your daughter is a great photographer! I also love the phone booth shot. Glad you are getting to experience so much. Good work with the pood forn. Thank you!Another great update.Props to your girls for their outfits. Momof6....aka Marty 769
Before we head to the Mine Train, we needed some Disneybounding photos for 19yo. As mentioned earlier, she was Anna. I think this is in the Mine Train queue. Mine Train Ride photos: Is that terror on the face of my sweet 7yo? You betcha! That is my third bad mommy moment. Three times and you're out? Not in this case. *blush* However, we just watched the ride video, which I am not sure how to post here, and she laughed while watching it. I don't believe she is scarred for life. Next was dessert at Be Our Guest Restaurant. I was glad we had FastPass+ reservations because they were turning people away at the end of the bridge saying there was no stand-by line. Some of the offspring got the cupcake with the "grey stuff" and some got the lemon meringue cupcake. The lemon meringle was delicious. Those who had the "grey stuff" thought it was okay, but a bit too sweet. The baby faces on the cherubs on the ceiling were very disturbing. More Be Our Guest photos: From there, we went to our FastPass+ for Enchanted Tales with Belle. A very special thank you to all the fiends who did not post how about the magic to go to the castle. I loved seeing that without having any idea of how it would work. Two of my children were chosen to be part of cast used in telling the story. (Did I ever mention that my husband and I met on stage rehearsing a play? No wonder my house is drama central!) I will not bore you with every single picture taken by my daughter and the Photopass Photographer. But I will bore you with a few. 12 yo as a guard. 12yo marching. 7yo as Philippe, the horse. 7yo horsing around. Lumiere *Taking a moment to mourn Jerry Orbach. He was the original Lumiere, he was baby's father in Dirty Dancing and he was lenny Briscoe on Law and Order. He was a very versitle actor and I was a big fan. And now back to your regularly scheduled trip report* Meeting Belle afterwards. Another quick Disneybounding photo before it started to rain too much. Next on our touring plan was the Festival Fantasy Parade, but it was still pretty early. According to Photopass, it was just before 2pm. And it was about to pour. I believe we decided to do Peter Pan's Flight then. Let's pick things up around there in our next update.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
I think you are the first Fiend to post 7DMT pictures! I've never seen kids be picked to be the guards. Love all the Disney-bounding.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
GDF took the words right out of my mouth- I have never seen actual Memory Maker 7DMT photos! Good job! I hope you can figure out how to post the video. Sorry about your 7 year old. Poor thing. I'm glad you got to go on the Mine Train, though. I am also impressed with your FP+ use and your overall touring plan. Very efficient. I'm sorry about all the dang rain. We had way too much around here in September. CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
The baby faces on the cherubs on the ceiling were very disturbing. From what we were told on our AP preview of New Fantasyland in November of 2012, those cherubs have the faces of the imagineers who worked on the project. And I think you gave TCD a "run for his money" for who can accomplish so much in one day at WDW.

Love all the Disney-bounding.I scored a first? Go me! They had all the kids marching to see who would be good guards. I guess Jeffrey just marched well. I did feel sorry for all the kids who weren't chosen to be anything. My 7yo was also disappointed that she couldn't get belle's autograph. They gave her a souvenir bookmark that has the autograph on it, but we all know that is not as good. GDF took the words right out of my mouth- I have never seen actual Memory Maker 7DMT photos! TCDThe rain was a bit frustrating at the time, esp. when i was walking through inches of it. My shoes did not dry out for the rest of the trip. (More on that later.) Momof6....aka Marty 769
Next, we walked over to the hall of Presidents to secure good parade watching spots. Photo of Liberty Tree. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the parade was canceled. We decided to do Mickey’s Philharmagic and then went to ride Pirates of the Caribbean. After that, we went to Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Café. We split some of the Taco Salads. The fixings bar make that a great value. Next, we had to split up. The boys and I had FastPass+’s to ride to Haunted Mansion. . The girls had FastPass+’s to meet Anna and Elsa. Then the girls wandered through Cinderella's castle. They found a short line to meet Prince Naveen. Need to make dinner. More soon!
