Tri-Circle-D 2,059
I just completed a drive from Tampa to Orlando to Tallahassee, and back to Orlando. Zero love bugs. There was some rain, which may have helped. Oldest TCD DD drove from Auburn to Tallahassee and back. No love bugs for her.None of this means they're not coming. They're just not here yet. Tri-Circle-D 2,059
I was just thinking of this thread. I don't think Florida ever got the love bugs bad this year. I never ran into any. I saw a few random cars around with smashed bugs, but I think we had a very light year this year. TCD
Grumpy and Grandma 740
We had maybe a dozen or so on the way down and I actually got one on the windshield of the GC, that's been about it.
djsamuel 322
The recent rains have brought some of them out around Clermont, FL. Drove to work via Disney this morning and didn't hit many, but when I was waxing my camper on Sunday, they were everywhere. Hopefully it was short lived.
oft013 23
I was up at Grayton State Park in the panhandle last week and the love bugs were terrible. Heading home to TX last Friday was real bad. The front of my motor home looks like a giant spalt of love bug.
