TCD I'm the same way....refuse to have a car payment. BTW, have you looked at the prices of used Excursions? Limited supply equals hefty price tags for the nicer ones. In any case, that's interesting about the tailgate....makes sense I guess. And reminds me how much i miss having a truck. mouseketab.....Carol 1,261 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 I know on my first Sport Trac, I made a run to Disney once with the tailgate down, and got from home to Valdosta without a single stop (almost 450 miles on a 22.5 gallon tank).
