I seem to recall my server gently tried to talk me out of it because it's relatively expensive for the novelty of drinking out of a pineapple. I was undeterred and did it anyway. Having never had the alcohol version to compare it to, I will say that I found the juice VERY sweet. Like "hurts your teeth" sweet almost. As the ice melted that helped to dilute it a bit.
