h2odivers...Ray 952
That's funny, fly all the way to England and her a waitress from Jersey! Loving the pictures. I always thought London was cold, gloomy and rainy! And that's a lot of pickles with your sandwich! That's awesome.Yeah. I laughed to myself when she said she was from NJ. And I was thinking of y'all. If London is cold, gloomy, and rainy we didn't see it. Can you ever have to many pickles?
Big Kahuna aka John 71
It's recommended to wear you backpack in reverse so that it isn't emptied by the pick pocket thieves while you walk down the streets. That particular area of London is a mad house and pick pocket thieves work the area regularly.
okgirlie...Brandy 6
Catching up.... Going back to Typhoon Lagoon. We showed up right before a storm. We grabbed lunch and waited it out. 45 minutes later we had the entire park basically to ourselves. It was great! The only part we didn't like was the wave pool. It was too strong for my daughter. She fell and scraped up her leg. Thank goodness we were about to leave because after that she was done. Love the London pics. Can't wait to see more.

h2odivers...Ray 952
Ok let's get some more pix of London Big Ben and the London eye in the backgroundClose upBig Ben and parliament. A different angle of Big BenOne more shot of Big Ben from across the river. I don't know why but Big Ben was one of the coolest things I saw in London. Did you know that Big Ben is named after the big bell inside the tower not the clock itself. Heading towards the London Eye. My attempt at an artistic picture of the EyeMcDonald's is every where. Mandatory pix of the beer selection from a street vendor. Your welcome. After a beverage break we stopped at a fish shop for traditional English faire. Yep hot dogs and fries. Well that's what DD had and it was not good. And this from a guy that loves all hot dogs. From the cheap .99 cents a package to handmade brats. Most of us had the fish and chips. Which was really good. I may of had one more beverage. And if I did it was pretty tasty. Nothing like a good Italian beer to wash down some good London fish n chips. After lunch we headed to the London Eye but the line was longer than SDMT on opening day. Take my advice book your ticket online before you go if you want to ride it and plan on spending about 1- 1 1/2 hours to ride it. And that's with a reservation. We decided to skip it and jump on a boat for a river cruise. A gold star to whom ever can name the next bridge. Here's a shot from under this bridge. I hope it doesn't fall down. Now who can name this bridge? Here's a hint. If you guessed London bridge you'd be...wrong. Ok I'll tell you. The first picture and the picture from under the bridge is of London bridge. The second picture is of the Tower bridge. According to the tour guide on the boat most people assume the Tower bridge is London bridge. Well I'm going to stop for now as I'm close to photo limit. Next up. The Tower of London and then we head to Paris. ThanksRay

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Great update, Ray. The fish and chips look almost as good as those served at Epcot. Thanks for the bridge lesson. If I ever go across the pond, maybe I can impress someone by knowing that the Tower Bridge is not the London Bridge. TCD
