h2odivers...Ray 952
Hey ray stop enjoying the lake and get back to writing Sorry. I was at the lake all weekend and don't have wifi there. I have to us 4g and it eats a lot of data downloading pix. But I will have an update tonight.
h2odivers...Ray 952
Hey Ray, I'm late to the party but thanks for posting the TR. Awesome job!BC looks like a great alternative. All the pools are enticing.Visiting the cockpit is yet another cool thing lost because of the lousy terrorists. I still have my shiny "TWA junior pilot" badge somewhere. It's awesome to see a proud papa having fun with the kiddo at the parks (she seemed just a Liitle excited about rope drop)I like TCDs reference to LouVine.AKL grounds are beautiful. Been to Boma so many times. I now go way early just to explore.Keep up the great work on the pics! Thanks for joining in. The kids liked visiting the cockpit. They only stepped in a step or two and that was surprising. Proud papa is an understatement. I am blessed beyond most peoples imagination. LouVine rocks.
h2odivers...Ray 952
Ok. I'm sorry. I just wrote an update but something happened to my iPad. I haven't lost the update. I just can't post it. Aaagh! So frustrating.
h2odivers...Ray 952
Ok before we go to O'Hana for dinner and then to MK for a Fiend meet n greet and we will find out if The Lou finds us. I'll show you some pix of Kidani Village. This is the lobby looking towards the picture window that looks out over the savanna. DW and DD standing by the picture window and the stairs that lead down to the savannaLooking out over the savanna. Notice there's no chain link fence. I have this weird habit of looking up. Here's a shot of the ceiling in Kidani Village lobby ceiling. I love the theming here. Ok let head outside. DD wants to go swimming. They have a nice playground/water park area for the kiddos. They have a nice hot tub here also. The pool is not as big as the Jambo House pool but it's still really nice and big. It also has a pool slide. Look under the bridge, to the left, and you can see the end of the slide. They had activities for the kids and DD joined in on the hula hoop contest. Look at that technique. She honed her skills at the TE. Notice in this picture that she's the only one left. She won. And she's throw up a peace sign for all her homies that couldn't hang. Ms. Josephine would be so proud. There were no chairs by the pool so I had to sit at the pool bar and enjoy a beverage while DD was playing. The pool is really close to the pool. I took the pictures of DD hula hooping for my seat. Ok let's get back on track. We had dinner rezzies for 5:00 pm at...If you look behind DW and DD you can see the wall they have up to hide the construction. We arrived a few minutes early and we grabbed a seat here. I love this bar. DW and DD shared a fruity frozen non alcoholic drink and I had a tasty beverage. We were seated shortly after 5:00. We took the scenic route. *** Warning***. The next several pictures do contain adult material. Please leave this TR if you are offended by Pood Forn. You have been warmed. MEAT!!!FIRE!!!The entertainment was just starting and we had a great seat, this picture was taken from our table. DD was right in the action. She had her broom and was ready to go. Think she was having a good time?Time to eat. Yes I eat a lot. Dang it! Photo limit. Don't go away. I'll finish up O'Hana and then we meet some Fiends at MK. Be right back. h2odivers...Ray 952
Ok where were we? Oh yeah. O'Hana. DD likes the food here also. I love meat!My new best friend. Close up. DW and I shared this dessert. OMG! It's soooo good!DD enjoyed her dessert also. IIRC it was a brownie cupcake with frosting and M&Ms. If you've never been to O'Hana you need to go. I'm not a big salad person but I did like the new salad. And I didn't really miss the chicken either. But then again I'm a beef guy. We left O'Hana and I think I gained 10 lbs. we took The Lou's favorite form of Disney transportation. The Monorail. It didn't break down and before we knew it we were here. I just like this picture. My beautiful girls. Well me and two Fiend families have been texting each other all day trying to arrange a meeting and avoid The Lou. Well we were all at the MK at the same time and it was raining off and on so we knew The Lou would not be out hunting us down. We decided to meet here and DD tried to pull the sword from the rock while we waited. Well the first Fiend to arrive was Eric (Yensidcamper) And his beautiful wife and two handsome boys. I had texted another fiend and right after Eric and I shook hands I look up and TCD walked up. We talked for a bit and then it started to rain so we stepped into a gift shop and and visited some more. We probably visited for a 20 or 30 minutes when the TCD twins showed up. We visited for a while longer and Twin # 1 shared a little bit of her trip to Paris, which I wanted to hear more about, since we were heading there in about a month. I felt sorry for Eric's, TCD's, and my family because the three of us were talking like old friends and I just knew they probably just wanted to go on a ride or something. But those boys and girls (young men and women) were so so polite and patient with us. We knew we better break it up or The Lou might find us. We said our good byes and went our separate ways. Heres a little picture my DW took of the three of us. I didn't get any pictures of Eric's or TCD's family. Mainly because I feel we, Eric, TCD, and I put ourselves out there and the kids don't. I'm sure they wouldn't have minded and I wish I would have gotten a picture. Well I guess there's always next time. Boy we look good! Can you say Chippendales! Lol!Well it's getting late and can you think of a better place to stop. Next update we take our first trip to Typhoon Lagoon and The Lou tries again. Maybe this time he tracks us down. Here's a hint for people who've never been to O'Hana. Tell you server how you like your beef cooked. I ordered it med-rare and it came out perfectly cooked, fresh, and hot. Beckers 1,136
Flip flops? I love me some flip flops and wear them almost all the time but I could never tour in them. Makes my feet hurt thinking about it!I'd love to go to O'hana sometime but I don't think the family would enjoy it.

Makes my feet hurt thinking about it!I'd love to go to O'hana sometime but I don't think the family would enjoy it.I would go barefoot if I could. But DW would kill me and many years ago me and DW were at a concert and I blew out a flip flop. The concert was at a Hard Rock casino so I just walked around the concert and the casino for hours barefoot. Can you believe nobody said anything. When we got up to our room I looked at my feet and the bottoms were black. I mean really black. I immediately got into the shower and scrubbed them clean. That carpet in that casino were nasty. I've walked around barefoot all day at the lake outside and my feet were no were near that dirty. I wear flip flops from about May 1st-November 1st. Unless my DW tells me they are not appropriate for where we are going. I.E. Weddings, funerals, etc. You have to put O'Hana on your short list. It's one of our favorites. Why do you think the family wouldn't enjoy it?
