GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
We walked up on some kids terrorizing a baby bunny at the playground at the Settlement. He's just shaking in the grass.

4Brians.....Todd 103
We dealt with that earlier. The kids wouldn't stop...and the parents were taking pictures. That's the maddest I've seen DW in a long time. She really lit into them. Apparently it was a temporary fix . BradyBzLyn...Mo and jmaul

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
People suck so much sometimes. Never mind that what the studies say about what happens to kids that torment animals later on... Thanks Kelly and Todd's DW for coming to the poor bunnies aid.

5kidsmommy 18
I am baffled by kids (or adults) who terrorize animals. I have never know a child who would do something like that and had I seen them I would have chased them off also. Although I would have most likely had a few not so nice words with the parents too. twiceblessed....nacole 433
Man... you did good for just yelling at them. :beathorse: Glad you protected the bunny and, hopefully, helped those kids learn that their behavior was not only wrong...but incredibly cruel. ftwildernessguy 778
I know some people, once were friends now just unfortunate acquaintances, who are ultra religious and see nothing wrong with behavior such as this because they say animals don't have souls. Preying on the innocent is inexcusable.

Preying on the innocent is inexcusable. Animals may not have souls...but there is NO excuse for cruelty. I agree with you, preying on the innocent is inexcusable. Just shows you God's grace, if I were God... I would have taken out mankind a LONG time ago. So sad, the perspective that those people have.
kadancer 82
My son would have been devastated to see a baby bunny (or any bunny) tormented. Kindness is a dying art.... My thanks to those of you onsite trying to keep the art alive.

I look into my dogs eyes and there is something looking back for sure. pixiesteno
