BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Here's another fun one from The Main Street Mouse that someone should try... TMSM Summer Craft: Mickey or Minnie Ear Visor July 16, 2014 | Author aut From our friends as Spoonful Total Time 30 minutes or lessAges toddler What you’ll need3 peel and stick foam sheets (black, red and yellow for Mickey or Pink, Black and white for Minnie)PencilElastic stringScissors How to make itUse a pencil to trace the visor’s shape (similar to a moon) on the yellow and red foam sheets or pink and white sheets. Use scissors to cut the foam Use a pencil to poke holes in each corner of the visor shape for the elastic string to pass through it when it’s ready. Cut out 4 circles of about 3 inches in diameter for the ears, as well as 4 small rectangles, as shown in the next picture. Remove the paper on the back of the ears. And use the small rectangles to anchor the ears to the visor. Stick two of the circles together, with a small rectangle poking out from in between them to use it as an anchor to the visor. Stick together the two visor shapes (yellow and red foam) and cut out the excess foam, if any. Use the elastic string to finish the back of the visor, by letting it pass through the holes and making a tight knot. And voilá, a cute Mickey Mouse craft that is also useful! http://www.themainstreetmouse.com/2014/07/16/tmsm-summer-craft-mickey-or-minnie-ear-visor/
CitaPita...Carmen 59
I was thinking about the fact that I need to sew an Elsa dress for my little E for Halloween this year (she'll be one of thousands of Elsas this Halloween!) and remembered the Cinderella dress I sewed for her last year. I am hopeless at using patterns, so I followed the directions I found on a blog and it worked great! Here is the link to the tutorial: http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2010/10/cinderella-dress-halloween-costume.html And here is how mine turned out. I was pretty pleased considering I had never sewn a dress before.

CitaPita...Carmen 59
Wow, I do sew and I am very impressed. That came out great!! Thanks you guys! I do quilt sometimes, but this was my first time making a dress. There were so many flaws, but E didn't see them so all was okay. :) The Elsa costume looks a little more complex, so I'm a little worried.
