GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
This looks like a great option for an early dinner. I really like that many of the TS restaurants have these lounge areas where you can often order off the main menu. http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorized/california-grill-lounge-review/

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
We haven't been since the refurb, but prior to we have dined in the lounge area. The last time it was terrific as we had comfy seats right by the window - perfect for fireworks viewing. We've always found the sushi here to be some of the best on property, if not THE best. I'm not sure if that has changed now that the head sushi chef retired. One thing to keep in mind is that it's not a guarantee you'll be able to get up to the lounge area. If they're very busy, they will not let you up, and you can't get up on your own as you have to take the "special" elevator - actually a CM with the special key. We actually tried to go up last November, but it was shortly after they reopened. It was super busy and they weren't letting anyone up to the lounge unless you had an ADR. The pictures just don't make them look great to me. But I do typically enjoy flatbreads.

But I do typically enjoy flatbreads. Never had the flatbreads there because they have sushi. Pre-refurb, it looked something like this... Oh and that was the time we were seated in the lounge - hence the little round tables.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
I actually think that meatball dish looks good. I know Josh said it didn't, but that looks like something I could eat as a meal.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Walked up tonight and we able to snag seats at the sushi bar with no wait. In fact we were the only ones there! Fire roasted oysters with bone marrow foam and the most amazing sushi, including a pork belly nigiri that was ridiculously good. GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Can I sit at the sushi bar and order the filet?!?!
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Sure you can! Anything on the menu is fair game. Although I recommend the pork belly nigiri highly. Don't worry, it's cooked. :) Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
