I remember standing in longgggg lines to ride "Hoop N Holler Hollow" and then to stand in a long line to get a tube, then another long line to carry it across the bridge and up to the Rapids entry pool.The drop from the upstream plunge was forever to splash into the pool. Remember the boardwalk through the cypress trees? There was a Seminole Chickee completely furnished.We would always see friends from church or school there and hang out. In the distance, you could see monorails, boats, swimmers in Bay lake, everything was so alive all at once.Add to that, the sound of the steam whistles echoing throughout the campground.River Country really was a special place indeed.Your commentary is awesome," the Troll"Jim Quote Link to post Share on other sites
