3Mouseketeers....Eddie 8
How did you make Minnies bow.
Odie 3
We are here on site 932. For Minnie's bow, the wife found a kids light-up hair band at Oriental Traders. We just cut off the hair and piece & the bow was perfect

I am available to make either one of these for those who can not. If anyone is interested in having one built by me then feel free to PM me. See you at the Fort! Retired and Happy (Ken) 101
I am supposedly completing a Minnie lamp. How do you paint and layout the polka dots on the can?
Cortezcapt (Derek) 156
I have debated making one, but each time I talk myself out of it. So far that's working great for me. Haha Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Retired and Happy (Ken)
Odie 3
Hey Retired...I just free-brushed the dots & hoped I didn't mess it up. Had plenty of Rust-oleum Red in case I did. Derek....don't be a chicken & go for it. :-) It really wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be to make.
Odie 3
Ahhhhhhh......finally back at the Fort...!!!
Travisma 1,317
We were at the Fort this past week, and in someone's RV windshield, they had two miniature Mickey/Minnie lamps. The bodies looked like 2 or 3 inch diameter pvc , with a small globe on top and the two ears. Small globe looked to be the size of the bigger lamps ears. Not sure what they used for ears on this small ones. It was during the day, so we didn't see them lit up either.

mmfancipher 31
I've had my Mickey lamp for several years and the globes have gotten scuffed up a little. Any ideas on how to get rid of the scuff marks? Odie, where did you get the duck bill?

mmfancipher 31
Haven't tried anything yet. I was afraid I'd scratch it up. Thanks for the suggestions!

Auto parts stores (or Amazon) will carry a wide range of polishing compounds in various "grits" like sandpaper ratings. I would try the toothpaste first if they aren't really deep.
