BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
The Disney Food Blog has posted a review of Yak & Yeti Restaurant, located in Disney's Animal Kingdom park...http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2014/06/08/review-yak-yeti-restaurant-in-disneys-animal-kingdom/ Some excerpts... Crispy Honey Chicken Sweet and Sour Chicken Refreshing Mango Pie Chocolate Pudding Cake I've had appetizers at the bar here (along with a Safari Amber on tap - YUM) but still haven't had a full meal here. DaveInTN 3,247
I've never been there at all. But we hit their counter service nearly every time we visit AK. My girls love getting their own take out container to enjoy.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
We've had the counter service stuff several times. It's actually pretty darned good and you get a good amount of food for the money.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
I've never been there. Went once to the counter service, and it was :barf:
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
This is the sweet and sour chicken, eggroll and I think it was chicken lo mein? I'd put it up there with our local decent Chinese restaurant. Somewhere I have a photo of the tuna tartar appetizer i had in the bar. That was quite good.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
I've eaten there once or twice, pretty decent. Unfortunately, even though it is a "Landry's" restaurant, they don't participate in the Landry's Select program, so don't earn points, or head of the line seating. BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
FYI - there are about 8 seats at the bar as you walk in on the right. Service is first come first serve and you can order off the full menu. When we went last fall the 4 of us walked right in and sat down. Oh and best of all... Safari Amber on tap. Out of curiosity Mo do they have Safari Amber on tap and would you recommend it? DaveInTN

DaveInTN 3,247
I think I got Safari Amber on tap at the counter service too.
alexwyattmommy 181
My eldest loves the counter service. We like it all except the honey chicken. That one was way too sweet to finish. The noodles however are worth taking a box home. And yes, he has taken a box back to the camper.
kadancer 82
We enjoy the counter service, too. It is a nice change of pace from the typical burger/chicken nugget.

The noodles are my favorite too. I got the beef lo mein back in January and it was actually very good. The beef was actually very tender. We enjoy the counter service, too. It is a nice change of pace from the typical burger/chicken nugget. Agreed.
