Jennifer41 19
CG suggestions, tips and hints? I haven't done much research yet, but it looks like the "go to" is the Gettysburg campground, with sites by the creek as ideal. What say you, fiends?
AC in A2......Aaron 693
Look at some of the Gettsyburg GG trip reports. I wrote one last year and i believe Beckers and Katman have a few from the last 2-3 years.I liked Granite Hill when we stayed there, but have only been there once. Only problem with sites by the creek is if they get a lot of rain and the creek creeps out of the banks. The last couple of years we have stayed at Granite Hill with sites up on what is known as Breezy Hill. Direct view of the playground so the kids can go play but still be in site. Others have camped other places in Gettysburg so I am sure they will chime in.

Katman1356...Jason 1,140
I think that is how they deed up at Granite Hill was the other campground flooded? Yep. They had reservations for another one I think the one we pass on the creek. The creek flooded and the campground had to cancel opening.

dblr....Rennie 224
Yes Granite Hill is nice but it's not as nice as it once was, they are starting to go downhill some. A lot of people like the Gettysburg Campground it gets good reviews. Check out RV Parks Review web site for ratings on all the campgrounds in the area.
MandMandMandMandM 31
My family likes to stay at the KOA. A bit outside of town, but a pleasant drive. The campground is awesome, clean, friendly, pool and putt putt, etc.
