elkabong 2
I know this has been covered on the forum before, but a search hasn't helped. We will be at the fort in early June for 10 days in the 200 loop. I know we can park our tow vehicle with our 5er, but we will have a second vehicle as well. If there is room, can that vehicle also be parked at our site? Also, I understand we will get a pass for our tow vehicle for free parking when we visit the parks, but what about the second vehicle? Can we get a pass for that one too, or do we have to pay for it at each park? elkabong
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
You can get passes for both vehicles, just ask when you check in. Fort rules are one vehicle per site but I can't remember the last time I saw that enforced. These days as long as both vehicles fit on the pavement you should be fine. Katman1356...Jason 1,140
You can absolutely get two car tags. If for some reason one doesnt fit at the site you can park it in overflow as well just let them know. With the tag it shouldnt be a problem anyway.
Lou... 3,118
You're all wrong. No, you can't park a second car because if you do, where am I parking if I stop by?

mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
well, we're not quite up to 10 posts yet, but....... wait for it!!!
DaveInTN 3,247
Still not at 10 posts, so I will stay on topic. Park the 2nd car in the overflow lot if it doesn't fit at the site. I typically park my only vehicle in overflow just so I have more room for bikes and maybe a golf cart if we rent one.
DaveInTN 3,247
Oh, and one other thing. If you do happen to leave room for Lou to park, and you feel inclined to offer him apple pie, I have an inside track with my girlfriend to get you some of the most juiciest, delicious apples ever. Please don't eat them yourself....only use them in Lou's pie. And this concludes our original 10 posts on this thread. You've received the information you requested, and now.....hold onto your underpants. Let the hijacking begin.
Beckers 1,136
Get a site in the 3000 loop and they offer valet parking
DaveInTN 3,247
The 3000 loop also has beer taps at each site supplied by underground lines.
jmaul 65
We managed to have the camper, cart, & 3 cars one Saturday morning. All on the pad. Then the po-po came by and we had to lose 1 car. Sources tell me the beer taps and free kungaloosh at 3000 loop are flowing well. Thankfully there is valet parking.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
If you do park both cars at the site, make sure you have one tire barely off the pavement if you want extra special attention from the Fort staff while they ignore the folks that have 20 people and 5 cars at the site next door to you.
